Jessica Cosmetics ~ U Got The Look

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey! How are we all doing? I’m still grieving the loss of my vacation so there’s that lol! Take me back. I will say I am loving the weather all of a sudden. It’s been nice and sunny so I have windows open. I love this time of year so much more this year than ever before. I have been constantly polishing. Like 2 times daily lately and I keep grabbing for the U Got The Look collection from Jessica Cosmetics. Specifically the purples. Let’s check them out.

Paisley Pink is a medium pink creme polish. The Phenom line is very pigmented. These could be one coaters for shorter nails or if you polish thicker. The formula is fantastic. I used the Phenom base coat and the Phenom Finale Shine top coat for all of my swatches and art. This swatch is 2 coats.

Violet Cream is a medium violet creme polish. This one is my favorite. I. Can’t. Stop. Using. This! It’s such a bold shade. Formula is butter. This polish stamps as well as the other two. Just wonderful quality. I used 2 coats with Phenom base coat and Phenom Finale Shine top coat for my swatches.

Purple Reign is a deep violet creme polish. This shade totally compliments the other purple. Such a creamy formula. These are all self leveling. Again, the quality is just top notch. When you’re considering a creme polish, you can’t go wrong with this Phenom line. I used 2 coats plus Phenom base coat and Phenom Finale Shine top coat.

Overall, these are fantabulous. Pigmented, smooth as butter, self leveling, and great for art! The top and base coat are just the cherry on top to be honest. The top coat is great for shine and for not smudging nail art. The base coat leaves an amazing shine with just 1 swipe. The tops also come off to reveal a smaller brush top. Much easier for small hands while polishing. Each polish in this collection as well as the top coat is $11.20. The base coat is $10.78. Everything here is available now so don’t wait to grab these multi use polishes. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ Season Of Weddings Collection

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! Today I have for you a beautiful collection based on wedding season! Were you married this time of year? I was married on March 30th so pretty close! How I wish these were available in 2012 when I got married lol. When I was married I had acrylic nails put on for the last time. It was that set that made me stop biting my nails and then I got into nail polish! Enough with the history lesson. Let’s get to the goods!

Bring On The Bling! is a white based flakie crelly loaded with silver metallic flakes. FAVORITE!!! I can’t even give you a good reason but I just love this one. So simple but so perfect for the occasion. This polish is nice and creamy and lays pretty flat itself. I do recommend Glitter Grabber though since this polish is so flakie dense. I used 3 thin coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

Brides & Bubbly is a white based flakie crelly loaded with rose gold metallic flakes. How pretty is this? It definitely gives off a champagney vibe. This color is also so perfect for wedding season. Very feminine and delicate. I used 3 thin coats plus Glitter Grabber and top and matte top coats for my swatches.

I Do! Crew is a white based flakie crelly loaded with copper metallic flakes. This is an edgy wedding polish. I love the antique feel of the copper flakes. This polish will make a great fall mani as well. Wonderful formula on this one just like the rest. 3 thin coats plus Glitter Grabber, top coat and matte top coats for my swatches.

Better Together is a white based flakie crelly loaded with purple metallic flakes. This is my second favorite. I am actually wearing this as I type! This one is fun and will work for any season. Super pretty. I used 3 thin, perfect coats plus Glitter Grabber, top coat and matte top coats for my swatches.

All of these polishes have a fantastic formula and lay pretty flat for being so full of flakies. That being said, I still highly recommend Glitter Grabber before your top coat. It will just give you that glass like finish. Each of these polishes will be $11. Or you could save a few dollars and buy the whole Season Of Weddings collection for $40. The collection will be available Friday May 13th at 7pm EST. This is a limited edition quad so don’t miss out! Have a great day y’all! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Jessica Cosmetics ~ Beauty In Bloom

*These polishes were provided for review

Hello! How are we all doing? I’m back with a fabulous spring collection from Jessica Cosmetics. Beauty In Bloom consists of 6 creme polishes in some bold beautiful shades. Let’s jump right in!

Hydrangea is a super light pale peach creme polish. I was very pleasantly surprised by how shiny all of these cremes dry! Because of the streaky nature of these very light polishes I used 3 coats for my swatches with JC Phenom Finale Shine Top Coat and a matte top coat.

Camellia is a soft pink creme with peach undertones. This is such a beautiful color. I couldn’t wait to put some art on it! Good formula but I still used 3 thin coats plus JC Phenom Finale Shine Top Coat and a matte top coat for my swatches.

Forget Me Not is a baby blue creme polish. I didn’t expect it but this one is my favorite. Perfect formula. And again, super shiny before adding top coat! I used 2 thin coats plus JC Phenom Finale Shine Top Coat and a matte top coat for my swatches.

Queen Of The Meadow is a chocolate milk colored creme polish. I love this one. Almost could be a 1 coater. Super smooth and creamy formula. I used 2 thin coats plus JC Phenom Finale Shine Top Coat and a matte top coat for my swatches.

Dahlia is a bright coral creme polish. This one is nice and bright. Perfect for spring and summer. Wonderful formula as well. 2 coats with JC Phenom Finale Shine Top Coat and a matte top coat for my swatches.

Morning Glory is a deep blue creme polish. I love dark blues like this. Formula was amazing. 2 coats plus JC Phenom Finale Shine Top Coat and a matte top coat for my swatches.

Overall, I love this collection. Who doesn’t love a good creme polish. Next I will see if they water marble. I have already stamped with them so that definitely works! I used the Jessica Cosmetics base coat for every mani as well. The base coat is a great quick dry, shiny base. The Phenom Finale Shine Top Coat was great. Shiny, quick drying, and it didn’t smear my art too bad. I would definitely recommend both the Phenom base and top coats. These polishes are 7 free, cruelty free, and vegan friendly. Each polish is $10 and they are available now so don’t wait! Links will be below. Thanks for stopping by ❤

Death Valley Nails ~ Cruella De Tejas

*I bought this

Who here doesn’t love a good thermal? They are my favorite. Today I have for you my vacation polish! This is the polish I’ll be wearing to St. Croix. I’ll add a coat of fairy dust and I’ll be good to go! Let’s check it out.

Cruella De Tejas is described as a thermal polish with purple, red, and pink shifting micro chrome specks. This is a tri thermal that is maroon when cold, red when warm, and pink when hot. This is a very reactive thermal that changes pretty easy. I obviously love it! I’ll be wearing it for 7 days hopefully. That’s just unheard of for me so let’s hope it lasts. Anyways, I used 3 thin coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

This polish is available now for $14. I highly recommend this brand. The formula was impeccable. This will be my last blog post for at least a week and a half so stick around! I have more coming as soon as I get back from vacation! Have a great night y’all. Thanks for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ 12th Anniversary Trio

*These polishes were provided for review

Hi! This collection I have for you today is very special! It is to celebrate Jill’s 12 years in business as Glisten & Glow! March 10th was the official date but now we have this. A prolonged celebration if you will. All you purple lovers will need the trio hands down. Let’s have a look.

We Still Got It! is an iris purple jelly polish with color shifting flakes that shift from purple to blue and added blue reflective glitters. I love the flakes in this one. They make this polish. The reflective glitters were pretty subtle and not too textured at all. I still would say to use Glitter Grabber though because of the flakies. Great formula for a jelly polish. I used 3 thin coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

Couldn’t Have Done It Without YOU! is a white based crelly polish loaded with pink, purple, and blue metallic flakes. I love this one. it’s so fun looking. like confetti! Fits in perfectly with the celebration theme. This one DEFINITELY needs Glitter Grabber. It’s so flakie filled it’s nuts. Formula is still great as per the norm for Jill! I used 3 thin coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

Truckin’ It Through Twelve is an icy lilac polish with added color shifting shimmers that shift from orange, red, yellow, and green with purple reflective glitters. Again, the reflective glitter is pretty subtle. Gives you the perfect amount of low key bling! The shift in this polish is everything! If you pick up just one from this trio make it this one. Again with the Glitter Grabber! I used 3 thin coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

Purple lovers, do you need them? I thought so lol!! The 12th Anniversary Trio will be available April 15th 2022 at 7pm EST. Each polish will be $11.50 or you can save some change and buy the trio for $30. Either way you won’t be upset. These are amazing as always. Let me know in the comments which one or ones you’ll be grabbing. Have a great week y’all. Thanks for stopping by ❤

Moon Shine Mani ~ That’s Our Monster

*I bought this

Hello! Today I have for you this unique thermal polish. Again, this one is no longer available but I wanted to share it anyways! It’s just so pretty. Let’s check it out!

That’s Our Monster is a thermal shifting soft, rosy chocolate to vivid pink, glowing with pink/gold/green shimmer and packed with platinum flakies, iridescent flakes shifting through red/gold/green and purple/blue/pink and micro black flakies. This polish is inspired by Beth Dutton from Yellowstone and how unpredictable and wild she is while also being incredibly loving. I have never seen Yellowstone! I just really love the polish and this is my first MSM!! It did not disappoint. Such a smooth even finish. I went and immediately ordered the autism duo! Anyways, I used 3 thin coats for my swatches plus glossy and matte top coats.

I am obsessed with thermal polish. I’m wearing one now as I type lol. I am sorry that this is no longer available but keep an eye out for it in a destash. I hope you all have a great week! thanks for stopping by ❤

KB Shimmer ~ Beach You To It

*I bought this

Hello! How are we all doing this week? I’m 9 days out from my vacation so I’m getting super excited! I actually bought this polish because it was inspired by the Caribbean. Unfortunately, this polish is no longer available. I just wanna blog it because I love it so. Let’s have a look.

Beach You To It is a bold blue reflective shade filled with color shifting shimmer. Y’all… I was not expecting the opacity of this polish. I audibly gasped! It is totally possible to leave this polish at just one coat. Especially if your nails are shorter. I used two coats just to get the full reflective effect. Formula is comparable to a Zoya Pixie Dust. Not quite as textured but a little. You will definitely need a glitter grabbing top coat for this beauty. I used two coats for my swatches.

Again, this is no longer available. Unless you can catch it in a destash! Don’t forget to keep up with Polish Pickup for more Limited Edition shades from all of your favorite makers! Have a great night! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ April 2022 PPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! It’s that time again. PPU is quickly approaching. Wish listing is open so make sure you filling that up. While you’re at it, add Glisten & Glow’s contribution to your list. It’s a fun stunner this month! Let’s check it out.

Minty Fresh is a white based crelly polish loaded with mint and blue metallic flakes. This polish is just like a toothpaste! So nice and fresh. Inspired by the element Fluorine (F) and it’s use in toothpaste! Keep that Smile Bright with Minty Fresh Toothpaste! If you know the maker, Jill you know that she is an avid tooth brusher! She’s huge into dental care!

* Fluoride “remineralizes” tooth enamel by bonding to areas of decay and attracting other minerals, like calcium, to the site of the damage.
* Fluoride prevents further decay by stimulating the production of fluorapatite , a type of tooth enamel that is highly resistant to acids and bacteria.
* Fluoride exerts antibacterial properties that not only inhibit the growth of bacteria but prevent the microbes from sticking to teeth.

Did you know that stuff? I had no idea! Anyhow let’s get to the next product!

Glitter Grabber is an amazing product that gets applied after any glitter or flakie dense
manicure is done and it’s fully dry and before your top coat. It aids in creating a smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture!

Directions: After you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have fully let it dry, you add a nice layer of Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber on top. It is a shiny formula upon application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that texture. Allow to fully dry and then add your glossy or matte top coat! It works at grabbing that extra texture that glitter or flakies can have!

Minty Fresh: $13 – NO CAP

Glitter Grabber: $8 – NO CAP

Polish Pickup will be open from 4/1/22 at 11 am EST – 4/4/22 at 11:59 pm EST. Make sure you add Minty Fresh and Glitter Grabber to your cart! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! How are we doing this fine Wednesday? I’m sitting here counting down the days (24) to my Caribbean vacation! It’s a once in a lifetime thing for me so I couldn’t be more excited. We are going to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. NO KIDS!!! Anywho, are we ready for spring? I certainly am! Let’s get in the spring mood with this beautiful 4 piece Spring 2022 Collection from Glisten & Glow!

Put The Petal To The Metal is a light pink creme polish. This is such a fun color. It makes me extremely happy to look at. Jill’s creme formula is immaculate! I used 2 perfect coats with glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

Last Bud Not Least is a beige creme polish. Ah the neutral. I used to hate these “plain” colors but now I love them. They are so good for so many things. This is one of those neutrals that should compliment everyone. Just an amazing shade. I used 2 exquisite coats with glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

I Lilac You A Lot is a light lilac purple creme polish. I love this shade of blue toned purple. Perfect for spring! This one is also pretty pigmented so possibly a 1 coater if your super careful. I used 2 buttery coats plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

Sea The Beauty In Every Day is a medium blue creme polish. This color is definitely bolder than the rest! I love it!! Like I really really love it. It’s my favorite of the collection and my bottle already has a fill line lol! I just can’t get enough of this fabulous shade. I used 2 perfect coats (again, I could have used just 1 coat) plus glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.

The Spring 2022 Collection will be available March 18th at 7pm EST. You can purchase each polish for $10.50 or you can buy the whole collection for $38! Save some pennies and just buy the set!! I promise you’ll love them 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ March 2022 PPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey all! Are we ready for this months PPU? It came up really quick this time for me. Glisten & Glow as usual is bringing you some fire! Let’s get to it.

Amethyst Skies is an Amethyst purple polish loaded with a blend of reflective pigment. Under low lighting, a darker amethyst shade shines through with reflective sparkle. Under bright light or with the use of flash, the reflective sparkle morphs into a vibrant, lighter amethyst shade. The inspiration is beautiful, vibrant purple skies that are rarely seen, but once experienced, are breathtaking and majestic. I am LOVING all the reflective polishes lately. How about you? I used 2 perfect coats of this polish plus Glitter Grabber and glossy and matte top coats. I definitely suggest Glitter Grabber because this will leave a slight texture to your nails.

How awesome is Amethyst Skies? This is one of those polishes that I have worn more than once in a very short time! It’s just so pretty and flashy.

Glisten & Glow Top Coat

Glisten & Glow Top Coat is an award winning fast dry glossy top coat.

The benefits are:

* 2-4 minutes or less and your nails will dry, durable, long lasting with days or weeks of no tip wear, or chipping!
* crystal clear, shiny, glossy “wet/gel like” appearance
* seals and evens glitters and flakie polishes
* non smearing for stamping manis

I have been buying Glisten & Glow top coat for 10 years now and it’s all I will buy. It’s just considered a necessity in my budget.

Polish Pickup will be open March 4th – March 7th. Make sure you don’t miss out!
