Saki Cosmetics & 1422 Designs ~ Summer Collab

*These polishes were provided for review

Hello!! Long time no blog. I honestly just haven’t been swatching much. I have been painting still just not posting. But here we are with some new stuff. Let’s have a look.

Bahama Mama is a shimmery coral pink. The shimmer in this polish is just breathtaking. Formula, as expected, was wonderful. Bahama Mama would look amazing worn to the beach! I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Jamaican Breeze is an orchid crelly polish with purple-pink-gold shifting shimmer and purple holo dust. I love how subtle the holo is. Such a nice little added sparkle. Highly impressed by this new to me indie brand! I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

What do you think? Purples and pinks always go together in my opinion. These are no exception. Fun Fact: In my YouTube swatch video I used 2 songs. The names of the songs, in order, are Summer and Dreams. Thought that was really neat for the Summer Dreams Collab! These polishes will be available in Saki Cosmetics shop as a pre-order from February 21st – 28th. This set will be 25 CAD (20 USD). Will you be grabbing this duo? Let me know in the comment section below. Have a great day y’all ❤

*Picture heavy

Hey y’all! First post from my new place! I even have my tree up and decorated already 🙂 I’m so very happy. So, today I have for you Saki Cosmetic’s Winter Cremes. 6 cremes that are perfect for the season. Let’s jump right in, shall we?

Aspen is a dove grey creme polish. I absolutely love a good grey polish. I should reach for them more often. this one had a wonderful application. Opaque in 2 coats but for most of these I used 3 coats because of my super white nail tips. Price $12 CAD

Orianna is an ochre yellow. I love this type of yellow. I don’t like my yellows eye searing. Muted and/or pastels are my favs. This one has a nice creamy leaning crelly formula. 2 coats would work but I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $12 CAD

Estelle is a light minty creme polish. Ooooohhhh I really like this color. I give in to anything light and minty like this. I just can’t help myself! Isn’t she just gorgeous?! Ok enough lol. This beauty will be opaque in 2 coats but again I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $12 CAD

Demetria is an olive green creme polish. This is one of those pretty ugly colors. I can’t stop looking at it lol. I think this looks really good with my skin tone. I think it will also compliment any other skin tone. For me it’s so pretty. 2 coats for my swatches with this one. She was a dream to work with. Price $12 CAD

Robyn is a medium dusty grape purple creme. My favorite shade of purple. This collection just has all my favorites lol. I recently have bought 3 polishes with this same color! This one has a fantastic formula and would probably be fine with just 2 coats. Of course I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $12 CAD

Stella is a deep teal leaning blue creme polish. Definitely a gorgeous color for winter. I feel like this is another color that would flatter any skin tone. It made the perfect night sky for my nail art. She has a great formula as well. 3 coats for my swatches. Price $12 CAD

This whole collection is right up my alley. Such a great set for the winter. These will totally work for any season as well so keep them close at hand. The Winter Cremes will be available on December 18th. Have your clocks set and your buying fingers ready! Have a great day ❤

Fanchromatic Nails

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey guys! Last post before the move. I was sent a few mini polishes to swatch for Fanchromatic Nails. Stopped packing for a few to get this written so let’s get right to it because I am just so busy!!

Glimmer is a pastel neon purple with various pastel matte glitters and matte white glitters. This was a tad sheer but the third coat should make it even and opaque. This is so pretty. It could work throughout the year as well. Such a flattering color. I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.

Most Imperial Majesty is a multi chrome polish with holo flakes. It shifts between brown, gold, copper, rust red, and green. Most of the time you will have this gorgeous brown color. The formula on this was fantastic. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.

Princess Bubblegum is a neon pink polish with square white glitters and gold metallic flakes. This is a true neon and will glow under black light. You also don’t need a white base to make it pop! I really love this one. I couldn’t capture the true brightness but I do have a black light glow photo. 2 thicker coats would work but I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.

All of these polishes are available now in Fanchromatic Nails shop along with tons of other stuff. Make sure you stop by and have a look. Especially now with the holidays so close! I hope you have a wonderful week y’all. Be back soon! Links below.

Bailey Sarian x Loud Lacquer ~ Aqua Tofana Collection

*These polishes were purchased by me

Hey everyone! How’s it going? I’m about to be packing so my blog will slow down for a bit. I can’t wait to move. So exciting to go where we get to live! Anyways, who here hasn’t heard of Bailey Sarian? If you like true crime chances are you have heard of her. If you like true crime and makeup you have definitely heard of her. I’m slightly (fully) obsessed. I have to admit that it was 98% of the reason I bought the Aqua Tofana Collection! The quality of the polish just made me that much happier. Let’s see what Bailey and Loud Lacquer brought us.

Saint is a dense glitter topper with hex glitters in different sizes. I didn’t mention the color because I’m just not too sure. It’s like a rose gold with a hint of pumpkin. It sure is pretty either way. The color is what makes this polish so unique. The formula for this glitter is fantastic. I probably should have painted 1 coat then sponged it on for coverage but I used 3 coats for my swatch instead. Price $14.50

Belladonna is a medium mint creme that leans a little aqua. This shade is perfection. The formula is out of this world. These were a tad expensive but the quality is well worth the cost. Its so smooth and silky. Totally self leveling. I could go on and on about this polish so let’s just stop here by saying it’s perfect. I used 1 coat for my swatches. Price $12.50

Giulia is a deep violet shimmer polish. Again, an amazing polish overall. Some shimmer polishes will leave streaks. This one did not. Giulia is a tiny bit thin so polish carefully as to not flood the cuticles. I didn’t have too much of an issue. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50

Antidote is an antiqued gold polish. I really liked this one. It’s not quite a metallic but it’s close. This is one of those polishes that will look good on anyone of any skin tone! Formula was fabulous but this one will leave brush streaks so polish thoughtfully. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50

I am super happy with this purchase. And in true to me fashion, Belladonna is my favorite. Right now, at the time of publish, the Aqua Tofana Collection is sold out but it will be back in time for the holidays! Price for the whole set $55. That price includes shipping and tax and all that. I will update the actual box cost as soon as it’s listed again. Don’t forget this box comes with a look book and 3 awesome stickers! I hope you enjoyed this post. I hope you make good choices! Have a fabulous day y’all.

Dr.’s REMEDY ~ DESIRE Dark Brown

*This polish was provided for review

Hi! How are we all doing? I am anxious as hell! After buying the house fell through we decided to wait a few more years and to just look for a bigger apartment for now. Well, we put in an application to some “luxury” apartments and now we wait. Waiting is so hard!! I have never had much in life as far as money and extras go so even being able to apply here is surreal. But, you’re here for the polish aren’t you. Let’s get to it.

DESIRE Dark Brown is a dark brown creme polish with purple undertones. This polish reminds me of raisins. It has just enough of a purple hint to seem raisiny lol. Super sultry and smooth polish. Definitely perfect for fall and winter. As with most of Dr.’s REMEDY creme polishes, this one is just fabulous. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price: $17.25

Can you tell that the stamping is a leaf? This was my first try at layered stamping. I wanted to keep it simple because I really wanted to show off this color alone. Make sure you give Dr.’s REMEDY a try. They have tons of good stuff in their polishes such as tea tree oil, biotin, wheat protein, and vitamins. This brand of polish was created by doctors with YOU in mind. Let me know what you think in the comments and if you are interested in bestie twin nails let me know that as well! Have a great day y’all.

Taylor Made ~ Make Your Own Polish Kit

*This kit was provided for review

Hello! In my last post I shared that winter is my favorite season. Today I will show you a set of polishes I got to make with a winter theme! I am calling it my Girly Christmas Trio. Each polish was hand made by me from the Make Your Own Polish Kit. This kit comes with everything you need to make 3 bottles of polish. Let’s see what comes in the kit.

I will have my mixing videos on YouTube along with my live swatches. This whole thing is just so cool. It put me behind the scenes of one of my all time favorite things. So here is what I did. I read through the booklets to get an idea of how much to use of what, then I just wung it lol. I knew I wanted a red and a purple. The last one I just went with my heart. Let’s check them out.

Christmas Crush is a red jelly/crelly polish. After I read the amounts I accidentally added 1 less scoop of pigment. What I was really going for was a deep opaque red. I am not upset with what I got though at all! It’s a bright red with a pink undertone. It is perfect for Christmas time and that was my main concern. The formula is smooth and totally self leveling. I used 3 coats for my swatches.

Christmas Dreams is a medium blue toned purple with pink and blue shimmers. This turned out exactly as I was hoping! This is why the MYOP Kit is the best. Total customization. I knew I wanted a blue toned purple and I made it happen. Again, the formula is smooth and very easy to work with. And yes, I did use the right amount of scoops of pigment this time lol. It ended in a much more opaque polish. 2 coats for my swatches.

Christmas Magic is the lightest pink ever lol. Most of the time it looks white. I purposely did that because I wanted a white with pink shimmer and only the pink pigment had pink shimmer. I actually love that it kept that tiny touch of pink in the base color. I forgot to mention this so far but all 3 of these polishes stamp. For the art I only used this kit! I love me a polish that can multitask. This formula was a tad bit tricky with leveling. It just didn’t really want to. This could be a 2 coat polish but because of that little issue, I used 3 coats for my swatches.

This MYOP Kit was so much fun. If you want to whip up your own personal shade I highly recommend this. The only thing I think this kit could use are little option packs. Like a small bit of glitter to add or flakies or whatever could be added into polish. I also think it would be neat if they did holiday themed kits throughout the year. They don’t need these things. The kit was super fun on it’s own, just my thoughts and opinions 🙂 Each kit costs $39. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed putting it together for you! Make sure to watch my mixing and swatch videos on YouTube! Have a great rest of your week ❤

R&P Jewelry ~ July 2020 PPU

*This ring was provided for review
Hello! I have something totally new for me today. I have a small review of a gorgeous ring that will be available next weekend with PPU! Brittany of R&P Jewelry is bringing you this super dainty, simulated opal, sterling silver ring. Let me give you the details.
This ring is set on a 16 gauge, sterling silver, twisted band. The stone itself is a 4mm simulated opal. If that wasn’t made clear to me I would never know. The stone is so colorful 😍 So much work goes into making this ring. First, the band is measured and cut. It is then soldered into a circle, filed and sanded, then shaped into it’s final perfect circle form. Once that part is done the bezel is soldered onto the ring. It is then filed and sanded again. The ring is then cleaned up by being sanded and tumbled. The stone is now finally set and the ring gets one final polish. I just love it. I can’t think of any fancy words to describe it because I just love it. I put it on and I haven’t taken it off. I prefer dainty, simple jewelry and this is just that! It goes with everything. Let me show you the many pics I took of this beauty.

So? Do you love it? This ring will be available for July’s PPU from July 3rd – July 6th 2020. The ring I took pictures of is a 7. The ring that will be available is a size 8. There are only 50 available and they will cost $15 each. Wish listing is open now so hop on over and add it! Links below 🙂 Have a fantastic day y’all!

Moonflower Polish ~ June 2020 PPU

*This polish was provided for review
Good morning friends! How is your weekend so far? Mine is amazing! I got the call that our offer for a house was accepted. I’m buying a house!!! I’m so very excited that I couldn’t sleep well so here I am. Today I have for you Moonflower Polish‘s contribution to Polish Pickup‘s Cocktails & Mocktails. Shall we?
Blueberry Lemonade is a “Pinkish mauve crème with subtle hint of purple to blue multichrome sparkle.” This polish is inspired by the cocktail at the Boathouse Restaurant in Disney Springs (Orlando, FL). As usual, this polish is made for stamping and other nail art. It is suggested that if you do use it for regular wear, you add thinner to the polish so it isn’t as thick. I actually didn’t add a thing and it polished perfectly for me. I really love the color. To me it’s a cross between bubblegum and roses. The shimmer is pretty subtle but over black it really pops. That was my favorite nail. For the regular wear I used 2 coats. You could totally pull off 1 coat if you polish thicker.

Look out for more manis with this color because it is just perfect! Polish Pickup goes live on June 5th through the 8th at 11am EST. Blueberry Lemonade will be $12.50 and there will be a cap of 75 US only. Ninja fingers y’all. Hope you have a fantastic Sunday and a very happy Memorial Day! Links below.

Stella Chroma ~ Desert Scapes Collection

*These polishes were provided for review
*Picture Heavy
Hey y’all! How are we doing during these trying times? Pam from Stella Chroma thought it would be a good idea to continue with the colors to brighten spirits!! I more than love that because it’s just so needed at this time. Anywho, I want to explain something before I get into the polishes. For all of my pics my lighting is exactly the same. I use an Ottlite 13W HD Slimline task lamp and a random desk lamp with an Ottlite bulb. My lights stay in the same place on my desk as well as my tripod. My lighting is all over the place with this collection. I’m leaving it as is because 1) they are color accurate (mostly), and 2) it shows the polishes at different angles, not just their best. I feel like people get cheated sometimes with those impossibly perfect swatch pics. Here you will see how they look in real life. I hope that no one minds! On to the polishes.
Pueblo – “Distinct structures made of stone, wood, and adobe mud look out of place anywhere but the desert. They blend in or stand out depending on the position of the sun. As it rises, it lends a bleached pinky tone to the mud walls and that’s the shade we modeled this color after. The gold/pink shimmer adds an extra touch.” This one is so soft and feminine. The perfect sunset pink. Light pinks usually have an iffy formula but this was nice and smooth in 3 thin coats.

Most color accurate!

Cactus Bloom – “A buttery golden yellow with a gold/pink shimmer. Smooth and opaque at two coats. Inspired by the deep yellow blooms that contrast the deep green of a cactus.” This seems to have many matches and they are all food lol. My husband said butterscotch, I said mac n’ cheese and butternut squash. Seriously an awesome color. Totally unique with a gorgeous shimmer. The formula for this one is impeccable. I used 3 thin coats but 2 thicker coats would be fine.

Most color accurate!

Desert Turquoise – “I can’t think of the desert without thinking of bright turquoise stones. Either polished in jewelry or rough to the touch,  the striking color is unmistakable. Our color is highlighted with a blue/green shimmer.” This is one of my favorites of the collection. The shimmer pops like crazy. It even shifts to blue at extreme angles. Such a fun stand out polish. I used 2 perfect coats.

Most color accurate!

Prickly Pear – “The fruit of a prickly pear cactus is normally found in a range of shades from bright pink to deep purple. It has been used as food and medicine in many desert climates for many years. This shade is a deep pink-ish purple with scattered holographic glitter.” To me, this is actually very grapey. I have never even seen a prickly pear though so that’s probably why. I have always said that pink is my favorite color but lately purple has taken over. I absolutely love this one. Especially with the glitter. 3 thin coats of buttery perfection for my pics.

Most color accurate!
Big Sky – “A vivid blue crème shade inspired by the endless summer sky. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more beautiful blue than that of the sky above Chinle, Arizona. I tried to do it justice here.” This one is my favorite because it really is super vivid. A perfect royal blue crème with an equally perfect formula. 2 coats for this beauty.

Most color accurate!

I never in a million years would have picked these colors for a collection but they totally work. They actually compliment each other very well. I love this entire collection so much more than I thought I could. I have already worn Prickly Pear 2 times! The Desert Scapes Collection will be available on May 29th at noon EST. The full collection will be available at a discounted price of $54 for two weeks after release. Then all colors will only be available individually at $12 each. Save the money and get the whole collection. You will love each and every one of them. I hope you all have a great week! Thanks for reading! Links below 😊

Moonflower Polish ~ May 2020 PPU

*This polish was provided for review
Hello! Are we all ready for Candy Land?! I am so excited for this theme. The makers really brought it this month with all the goodies. Nadia, owner of Moonflower Polish, is bringing you this awesome polish that has been formulated for regular wear! Usually the stamping polish aficionado, Nadia changed her direction for this month. Let’s check it out!
Dulce de Coco is an, “off-white crelly full of iridescent microflakies. Dulce de Coco is meant to be worn as a regular nail polish in 2-3 coats. If used for stamping, use over black for best results. It is intentionally more sheer than my usual stamping polishes in order to show off more of the microflakies. Inspired by my favorite traditional Puerto Rican candy, made from coconuts. The polish name translates to “coconut candy”.” This polish screams confection 😍 The flakies make this polish. I love that this is an off white not a bright white. It just softens the whole thing. Formula for me was a little on the thick side but Nadia has assured me she will be thinning out the batches sent to everyone else. It was still totally polishable and I only needed 2 coats for full coverage. It is so pretty stamped as well. I’m rambling so let’s see some pics.

Let me apologize for the weirdness of my skin. White does that to me. So, what do you think? I love it. It was the perfect base for some candy stamping! Make sure this goes on your wish list because there are only 50 bottles for the US only! This pandemic is affecting everyone everywhere, indies included. That leads to shortages of pigments and other supplies. That means ninja fingers are a must if you want this beauty. It will be $12.50 for a full sized bottle of Dulce de Coco. Polish Pickup goes live tomorrow, May 1st, at 11am EST. Polish Pickup is open May 1st – 4th. Links below! Have a great weekend y’all! Stay Safe ❤
