Orly ~ Wild Natured Collection

*I bought this

Hello! How are we all doing? Today I have for you the Wild Natured collection from Orly. I know these have been all over the place already but just look at them!! These colors make up the best fall lineup I have seen in a while out of a mainstream brand. There are other great collections, don’t get me wrong. This one just definitely stands out. Let’s check them out, shall we?

Blue Tango is described as a medium blue creme polish. This is a stand out color for sure! It’s deeper in darker lighting but it is so bright in the sun! Such a beautiful blue. I used 2 smooth coats for my swatches.

In Full Plume is described as a dark teal creme. I always love a good teal color. This one is perfect and creamy and everything you want in a good polish. I used 2 amazing coats for my swatches.

Wild Willow is described as a mossy green creme polish. The more I use these ugly colors the more I love them. I loved how this looked on my skin tone. I think a color like this will compliment any skin tone!! Again, I used 2 easy peasy coats for my swatches.

Lion’s Ear is described as a warm orange creme polish. To me, this polish is definitely more of a crelly. I still had a slight visible nail line at 2 coats. 3 coats would most likely make this shade opaque. Formula was nice and easy to work with. 2 coats for my swatches.

Bird Of Paradise is described as an orange creme polish. What?!?! 2 oranges? I was kinda shocked but it works! And they are both very different oranges thankfully. This one is definitely a creme base. I used 2 buttery coats for my swatches.

String Of Hearts is described as a deep fuchsia creme polish. I just adore this color. This is a flattering color for me or anybody really. This polish was super smooth and nicely pigmented. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Don’t you just love them? They are available now commercially but I will leave you the pricing info from their direct site. Each shade is $9.50. You can get the full set for $57. If gel polish is your thing they are also available that way for $15.90 per shade or $95.40 for the full 6 piece set. My favorite thing about Orly is that their bottle are larger than the average polish bottle. I feel like I get such a great value lol. Your average full sized polish is .5 oz. Orly is .6 oz. And let’s not forget the amazing quality we all know and love from Orly. I have never had a bad polish from Orly. Since these are so popular right now, I would love to do some twin nails so let me know in the comments if that’s something you want to do. I hope you all have a great rest of your week. Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

OPI ~ Umpires Come Out At Night

Good morning! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend and continues to have a nice relaxing Sunday! As usual here in Connecticut we are expecting snow later today. We have had snow once a week (at least) consistently for 6 weeks now! I am so over it! I have to do a post to help me forget about it so today I bring you, OPI Umpires Come Out At Night. I also added a shimmer topcoat from Orly just because it was a great match! Lets start with UCOAN. I went to the OPI site and it says that this is a crème polish. I really thought it was a crelly by the super smooth way it applied. It is so creamy and shiny. I picked this up because it reminded me so much of Revlon Royal. Turns out its darker and not as bold. That’s fine with me. Who doesn’t love blue polish?! For this swatch I used 3 thin coats plus topcoat. I didn’t need the third coat at all. Not even to even out the polish. I’m just weird like that lol. Look how gorgeous!!!

Here I have 1 coat of Love Each Other from Orly Over UCOAN. To me, it looks like very fine pink and blue shimmers in a clear base. Now, because of the mix of color shimmers, it flashes violet. I love it!  I used glossy topcoat for all but the ring finger. I used matte on that finger so you could see the shimmer!

What a standout combo!! Hope you enjoyed my random Sunday morning swatch!!

Orly ~ Mirrorball

Hello!! I have the last of my 4 holiday Orly polishes for you! This is Mirrorball and as you can imagine this will have lots of pics 🙂 I was lucky enough to have 3 of these bottle. I used 1 bottle to make 2 Christmas ornaments. I have 1 bottle for me. The last bottle is up for grabs in my giveaway on Instagram!!! Go check it out and win you some awesome holo stuff 😀 Mirrorball is very unique for a salon brand!! It is a linear holo base with tiny silver holo hexes throughout. Nail addicts everywhere went nuts for this polish when it came out. I have a hard time not using it with every mani lol. I used 3 coats for my swatches just because that’s what I do. Not sure why… 2 coats would be opaque if you prefer. I love that this formula doesn’t drag. Its hard to find a really smooth linear holo like this. I will be using this a lot!! Take a look!!

Orly ~ Bling

Hi all!! Did all my fellow New Englanders make it through blizzard Colbie ok? I live in Connecticut pretty close to Rhode Island and we got about 32 inches at my house!! Luckily, we did not lose power! My husband and I did what we love to do most. We vegged out and watched a ton of movies 🙂 Tonight I have another Orly for you! This time I have Bling. Bling is a clear base polish full of square, micro, holographic, gold glitters. The name Bling says it all. This polish is super flashy!! I used 3 thin coats to make it solid. It would look great over any color but I just love it so much I wanted it on by itself. Formula was great. Super happy with Orly polishes as of late! New obsession?! I think so lol. You will see why in a second! let me know what you think of this in the comments!!

Orly ~ Steal The Spotlight

Hi friends! Hope you all had a good long weekend! Mine was hectic as usual lol. Glad I had this saved 🙂 This Is Steal The Spotlight from Orly. It is a super dense micro glitter polish in a clear base. The micro glitters are teal leaning green. It also has small hexes that are a medium dusty rose color that are holographic!! If you follow me on Instagram, then you may know that I have a giveaway going on right now. This polish will be added to that! I got an extra for Christmas so why not! I also will be extending that giveaway but all those details will be on IG 🙂 My swatch is 3 coats alone with topcoat. Formula was great for such a glitter filled polish. Definitely not my usual pick but I really had to have this. I am not at all disappointed 🙂 What do you think? Let me know in the comments!!

Orly ~ Explosion Of Fun

Hello again friends! Its almost the weekend!! Tonight I have for you a polish from Orly Sparkle collection. I don’t have them all because I did not like them all. But I have the good ones 😉 Tonight I will show you Explosion Of Fun. This is one of the hardest polishes to capture in a picture!! I have seen this described in a million different ways, but here is my take on it. It has a sheer magenta base with a very strong electric blue shimmer. It also has tiny deep magenta holographic hexes, almost red actually. All together, this polish is wonderful! I used 3 coats with topcoat for the first swatch. I used 1 coat over Sinful Colors Steel My Heart for the second swatch. You really just need to see it for your self. In person if you have the chance! Let me know what you think in the comments!!

Best Silver Holos Ever!!!

Hi friends!! 2 nights in a row! Weird right? Well, today has been a good day and last night I had time to do some swatches for this post I have had in my head for a while. Seems holographic polish and/or glitter is THE thing to have for any kind of manicure! Since my husband works and I stay home, I don’t have tons of money for indies. But, it just so happens that the silver holo polishes/glitters I do have are some of the best and/or most sought after! Wow, lots of slashes lol!! On with the post! First up, bottle shots:

This polish is the olny one of the four made of square micro glitters! It is also the only one with a flat wide brush. These things really stood out. The only thing I can say about this polish is that it took a little extra to fully coat the nail. This was 3 thick coats with topcoat. There are other ways to get better glitter coverage but for this post I wanted to highlight the polish for itself. It was very smooth for so much glitter. Laid totally flat and only needed one thin coat of topcoat to smooth it over.
This one was a little different. I put base coat on the nail then sprinkled the glitter over my nail. I didnt press down or anything. I just let it do its thing! After about a minute I used a fan brush to brush all the excess glitter off. Another 3-5 minutes later I did the same thing over again. No pressing and no topcoat! I love the texture it left. Im sure I could have smoothed it with topcoat. I just didnt want to lol. This is a hex micro loose glitter.

this one has been flying off of store shelves everywhere its sold. This polish is a silver linear holo polish with mini silver holo hexes. What a super stunner!! I have already used this to make Christmas ornaments and a bunch of manis. I need a backup. Then I need a backup of the backup. Not for me but for a lucky someone else!! So lets all take a moment of silence and pray I can find more!!!!! This can be worn over any color to make it holo or on its own in 3 thin coats. I have it here alone (3 coats) with topcoat.

Last but most certainly not least is this beauty right here!! Princess is super close to Drunk On Holo. I used 3 coats for this with top coat. It is made up of hex micro glitters. This laid nice and flat and had total coverage in 3 thin coats. It also smoothed out with just 1 thin coat of top coat!

So, which is your favorite? I dont think I could decide! I am just happy I have them all 🙂
