Glisten & Glow ~ December 2021 PPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! today I have for you Jill’s offerings for PPU. The theme this month is Cozy Vibes. Jill was inspired by the Danish word of Hygge and the life that it represents. The warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people. Let’s check it out.

Hygge Life is an ivory base with pink undertones loaded with iridescent flakes. Holy mother this is gorgeous. My pics don’t do this one justice. The brush shot right above is close! It’s so soft and full of flakes. “A perfect polish for the everyday/work friendly life that is a palette cleanse from the bold and vibrant. Just a simply delicate and refreshed manicure vibe.” I prefer the bold and vibrant but I really enjoyed this polish. I wore it for a few days! It is flakie dense but it still applies nicely. I used 3 thin smooth coats for my swatches.

Also up for grabs is Glisten & Glow Top Coat. Glisten & Glow Top Coat is an award winning fast dry glossy top coat. The benefits are :

  • 2-4 minutes or less and your nails will be dry, durable, long lasting with days or weeks of no tip wear or chipping!
  • Crystal clear, shiny, glossy “wet/gel like” appearance.
  • Seals and evens glitter and flakie polishes.
  • Non smearing for stamping manis.
  • Glows under black light.

If you haven’t tried Glisten & Glows Top Coat, your life is just not complete. It will change your whole nail game! I have been buying top coat from Jill since 2013 I think and it’s the only top coat I have purchased since. I actually just grabbed some from her Black Friday sale. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

PPU is open from December 3rd at 11am EST until December 6th at 11:59pm EST. Set your alarms so you don’t miss out.

Hygge Life: $13 – NO CAP

Top Coat: $7.50 – NO CAP

Orly ~ Wild Natured Collection

*I bought this

Hello! How are we all doing? Today I have for you the Wild Natured collection from Orly. I know these have been all over the place already but just look at them!! These colors make up the best fall lineup I have seen in a while out of a mainstream brand. There are other great collections, don’t get me wrong. This one just definitely stands out. Let’s check them out, shall we?

Blue Tango is described as a medium blue creme polish. This is a stand out color for sure! It’s deeper in darker lighting but it is so bright in the sun! Such a beautiful blue. I used 2 smooth coats for my swatches.

In Full Plume is described as a dark teal creme. I always love a good teal color. This one is perfect and creamy and everything you want in a good polish. I used 2 amazing coats for my swatches.

Wild Willow is described as a mossy green creme polish. The more I use these ugly colors the more I love them. I loved how this looked on my skin tone. I think a color like this will compliment any skin tone!! Again, I used 2 easy peasy coats for my swatches.

Lion’s Ear is described as a warm orange creme polish. To me, this polish is definitely more of a crelly. I still had a slight visible nail line at 2 coats. 3 coats would most likely make this shade opaque. Formula was nice and easy to work with. 2 coats for my swatches.

Bird Of Paradise is described as an orange creme polish. What?!?! 2 oranges? I was kinda shocked but it works! And they are both very different oranges thankfully. This one is definitely a creme base. I used 2 buttery coats for my swatches.

String Of Hearts is described as a deep fuchsia creme polish. I just adore this color. This is a flattering color for me or anybody really. This polish was super smooth and nicely pigmented. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Don’t you just love them? They are available now commercially but I will leave you the pricing info from their direct site. Each shade is $9.50. You can get the full set for $57. If gel polish is your thing they are also available that way for $15.90 per shade or $95.40 for the full 6 piece set. My favorite thing about Orly is that their bottle are larger than the average polish bottle. I feel like I get such a great value lol. Your average full sized polish is .5 oz. Orly is .6 oz. And let’s not forget the amazing quality we all know and love from Orly. I have never had a bad polish from Orly. Since these are so popular right now, I would love to do some twin nails so let me know in the comments if that’s something you want to do. I hope you all have a great rest of your week. Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Dr.’s Remedy ~ The Comeback Collection

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all. Today I’m bringing you some new stuff from Dr.’s Remedy! “Believe it or not, fall is fast approaching. And we are so here for it. If ever there was a time to embrace the optimism of a fresh new season it’s now. As social calendars start to repopulate and we gently embrace a hopeful and more energized way of life, Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Care is right on cue-with two empowering new shades that encourage us to live in the moment. Introducing LYRICAL Lilac and SERENITY Sage. Stylish and neutral at the same time, each one of these comforting, cream-based colors perfectly capture the-cautiously-upbeat vibe of the moment.” Let’s check them out!!

LYRICAL Lilac is a flirty, full coverage pale purple creme which has light mauve undertones that flatter all skin tones, making it the perfect fall pastel. They are not kidding when they say full coverage. This could easily be a 1 coat polish. The formula is fantastic! I of course used 2 coats for my swatches. For my stamping I used the shade BRAVE Berry.

SERENITY Sage is an earthy grey-green creme polish that walks the line between edgy and neutral – a guaranteed win for a long awaited night out. I love this one so much. Green has been my it color for a while now and this did not disappoint at all. Again, this could be a 1 coat polish. Formula is nice and buttery and just all out flawless. I used 2 coats for my swatches. For my stamping I used shade MAGNETIC Midnight.

I also threw together a quick look using both shades and again, stamped with MAGNETIC Midnight.

Now that you have seen the awesomeness, let me tell you a little about Dr.’s Remedy. “The brainchild of two New York-based board certified podiatrists, Dr. Adam Cirlincione and Dr. William Spielfogel, Dr.’s REMEDY was designed with nail health in mind. Glisten & Glow ~ September 2021 PPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hello! Tomorrow is PPU already! This month came so quick for me. And it is by far my favorite month of the year for PPU! The theme this month is Trick or Treat!!! Have you seen the offerings? AMAZING! Today I will be showing you what Jill from Glisten & Glow has to offer. Let’s take a look!

Cats & Bats is a very vampy and mysterious dark, dark purple almost black jelly polish filled with iridescent flakes that shift from dark blue to purple and iridescent flakes that shift from pink/red/orange/green/gold. Added holo flakes and holo sparkle round out this beauty. Y’ALL!! I love this one so much. The hues of pink purple and blue are so prevalent. Jill’s inspiration was Halloween’s superstitions of black cats and the spooky bats that fly at night while trick or treating. Nailed it! This will be the perfect base for any Halloween nail art! As per the norm, this formula is fantastic. Especially being so full of flakies. You will need the other offering for PPU and that is Glitter Grabber. It will smooth out any bumps you may get from the flakies. I used 3 easy coats for my swatches.

Glitter Grabber is an amazing product that gets applied after any flakie or glitter dense manicure is done and it is fully dry and before your top coat. It aids in creating a smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture!

Directions: After you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have fully let it dry, you add a nice layer of Glisten & Glow’s Glitter Grabber on top. It is a shiny formula upon application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that texture. Allow to fully dry then add your glossy or matte top coat! It works at grabbing that extra texture that glitters or flakies can have!

Here you can see my glitter packed polish alone, then with 1 coat of Glitter Grabber, then with 1 coat of Glitter Grabber and 1 coat of top coat. You can clearly see the smooth finish it will give you!

So there you go. 2 more things for you to grab this month from PPU! I promise you’ll love them both. Glitter Grabber actually has many uses and rave reviews so please do yourself the favor! Polish Pickup will be open September 3rd at 11am EST until September 6th at 11:59pm EST.

Cats & Bats: $12.50 per bottle NO Cap

Glitter Grabber: $8 per bottle NO Cap

Swamp Gloss ~ MaryJane & Manicures Group Custom

    *I purchased this duo

Guys! I don’t know if you know but I am a huge smoker! Marijuana of course. I have my medical license before anyone freaks out! So, I follow this awesome group on Facebook called MaryJane & Manicures. For the month of July there was a custom duo for sale from Swamp Gloss polish. Katie came correct with this set. Let’s have a look.

Sssinister Sssalad is a cerulean jelly polish with a strong shimmer that shifts between green, gold, red, pink and a touch of micro holo glitters. This is just what I see, not a description given by the maker so forgive me if I’m off. It’s soooo pretty. This would make a great base for a space/galaxy mani! There is a very slight (VERY SLIGHT) visible nail line for me. Mostly because my free edge is really white. You should be fine with shorter nails or with not so white free edges. I used 3 perfectly smooth coats for my swatches.

There is also this amazing lip balm called Best Buds. It’s root beer and vanilla ice cream scented! If you like root beer floats this is just perfect for you! Best Buds ingredients are: coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, tocopherol (vitamin E), argan oil, rosehip seed oil, EO & FO, sweetner. I have been using it every day since I got it and I can say it’s wonderful. My lips are so soft!

Sadly, I’m pretty sure this is no longer available. I do apologize for that but maybe you could find it in a destash eventually. It really is worth keeping an eye out for. Either way I will link Swamp Gloss below! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ Beach, Please Summer Crellies 2021

*These polishes were provided for review

You didn’t think Jill was done with summer did you?! Nope! Here she is with 3 neon glitter crelly polishes! Polishes you will definitely need before summer is over. Let’s get right to it!

Good Times & Tan Lines is a white based glitter crellies packed with neon glitters in pink, orange, yellow, light orange, green, purple and watermelon. This one is so fun and colorful. Tons of glitter in there so no fishing required! Formula was wonderful for a white crelly! I used 3 coats for my swatches.

Pool Hair, Don’t Care is a bleached green neon glitter crelly packed with neon glitters in blue, orange, yellow, watermelon, and light orange. This one reminds me of pool balls. No idea why but it does! The colors together just make magic with this base color. Just an awesome shade. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Nama’ Stay At The Beach is a grape purple glitter crelly with neon glitters in yellow, green, and pink. I think this one is my favorite. Absolutely love the base color. I actually think this one dries a tad darker than it looks in the bottle. Formula was great! I used 2 coats for my swatches.

The Beach, Please Summer Crellies will be available tomorrow, July 9th, at 7pm EST. Each polish will be $10 or you can buy the set for $28! You might as well just buy the set since you save some money lol!! Let me know what you’re grabbing in the comments! Links below for your shopping pleasure! Have a great weekend y’all! Thanks for stopping by ❤

    Dr.’s Remedy ~ Rise & Shine Collection

*These polishes were provided for review

Happy Friday y’all! Comin at ya with some perfect-for-summer goodness! Not to mention the most healthy nail polish option out there. Don’t quote me on that but I’m pretty sure it is! Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish has great things added like tea tree oil, garlic bulb extract, vitamin C, wheat protein, and much more. The formula is also 10 free! Nothing you don’t want and all the things you do want all in one place. I’ll Link you HERE for more great info on this brand. Now let’s get into the polish.

SERENE Salmon is a bright peachy pink creme polish. This is a 2 coat polish for sure. My pics use 3 coats because of my air conditioning issues. Remember that? Well, it was an on going issue until like 3 days ago! My polish just kept bubbling and no matter what I did nothing worked to help it. I tried 7 different base coats but it ended up just being too hot in my apartment. I was even sent this set twice just in case it was a formula issue. I promise you it’s not. My polish was just not drying or applying correctly. Anyways, here is 3 coats of SERENE Salmon.

MAGNIFICENT Magenta is a bright orchid creme polish. Again, this is a 2 coat polish but ya know… AC problems. Such a beautiful color. I really love this one. I used 3 coats for my swatches.

I also used TOTAL Two-In-One as my base and top coat. As a base coat this polish helps strengthen and encourage nail growth while as a top coat, bringing top notch UV protection to prolong the life of your manicure! Such a great product to have in your collection!

My camera washed out just how bright these colors actually are. I would look at the macros for color accuracy. These polishes are all available now so don’t wait to pick them up! They are a little on the pricey side to be honest but they are so worth every penny. If you get them let me know and we can do twin nails! Each polish is $17.25 and TOTAL Two-In-One is $19.95. Or you can buy the trio for $49! Grab it now while it’s on sale! I Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Taylor Made Polish ~ Summer Neutrals 2021

So here I am, late as usual. When I said I wanted to blog the next day I totally forgot it was Father’s Day weekend. We had dinner plans and all kinds of other stuff going on. I am so absent minded sometimes. I apologize for that! Anyways, today I have for you the Summer Neutrals from Taylor Made Polish. Let’s jump right in.

Love Letter is a soft pink crelly polish. This one is so cute and girly. This formula was a little picky so polish carefully. Don’t use too many strokes. The final result is a beautiful shade of baby pink. I used 3 coats for my swatches.

Smoke Show is a sheer grey shimmer polish with a touch of added silver sparkle. This one is my favorite. Again, the formula was a tad patchy. I actually think this polish would make/be better as a topper! She is definitely breathtaking though. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

“You’re a Natural!” is a light nude creme polish. I really wanted to love this one but I just couldn’t. This formula was not too fun at all. It was very patchy and not self leveling in the slightest. Definitely not my favorite. I used 3 coats for my swatches.

Overall, this was not what I was expecting from Taylor Made Polish! I guess it could just be me but I didn’t have the best time with these 3 polishes. I definitely would still recommend Smoke Show! Like I said it will make a great topper. Each of these polishes will be $10 per bottle, $27 for the neutrals trio, or $54 for all 6 polishes brights and neutrals! Let me know what you think in the comments! I hope you all have a great rest of your week! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Taylor Made Polish ~ Summer Brights 2021

    *These polishes were gifted

Hello! Today I am bringing you some polish I was recently gifted. I have never been gifted anything like this so I was over the moon. The entire summer collection from Taylor Made Polish consisting of 6 full sized polishes. I’ll be showing you the brights now and the neutrals hopefully tomorrow. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Sun Kissed & Lemon Twists is a bright sunshine yellow creme polish. So fun and summery. It makes me feel fresh ya know? As with most yellows the first coat was a tad streaky. It built up nicely in 3 coats. I used 3 coats for my swatches.

Siren is a muted red creme polish. This is a pretty unique red for me anyways. I really love it Formula is great and opaque in 2-3 coats. This will depend on the length and free edge of your nails. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Hey Babe! is a medium electric blue creme polish. This one was the best of the 3 brights. Formula was perfect in 2 coats. And I just love this shade of blue! I used 2 coats for my swatches.

This is not the only brand doing the primary color thing this summer and I am really loving it! What are your thoughts on this? These polishes are available now for $10 each, $27 for the set of brights, or $54 for the whole 6 piece collection, brights and neutrals! Links below! Have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by<3

Bailey Sarian x Loud Lacquer ~ Aqua Tofana Collection

*These polishes were purchased by me

Hey everyone! How’s it going? I’m about to be packing so my blog will slow down for a bit. I can’t wait to move. So exciting to go where we get to live! Anyways, who here hasn’t heard of Bailey Sarian? If you like true crime chances are you have heard of her. If you like true crime and makeup you have definitely heard of her. I’m slightly (fully) obsessed. I have to admit that it was 98% of the reason I bought the Aqua Tofana Collection! The quality of the polish just made me that much happier. Let’s see what Bailey and Loud Lacquer brought us.

Saint is a dense glitter topper with hex glitters in different sizes. I didn’t mention the color because I’m just not too sure. It’s like a rose gold with a hint of pumpkin. It sure is pretty either way. The color is what makes this polish so unique. The formula for this glitter is fantastic. I probably should have painted 1 coat then sponged it on for coverage but I used 3 coats for my swatch instead. Price $14.50

Belladonna is a medium mint creme that leans a little aqua. This shade is perfection. The formula is out of this world. These were a tad expensive but the quality is well worth the cost. Its so smooth and silky. Totally self leveling. I could go on and on about this polish so let’s just stop here by saying it’s perfect. I used 1 coat for my swatches. Price $12.50

Giulia is a deep violet shimmer polish. Again, an amazing polish overall. Some shimmer polishes will leave streaks. This one did not. Giulia is a tiny bit thin so polish carefully as to not flood the cuticles. I didn’t have too much of an issue. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50

Antidote is an antiqued gold polish. I really liked this one. It’s not quite a metallic but it’s close. This is one of those polishes that will look good on anyone of any skin tone! Formula was fabulous but this one will leave brush streaks so polish thoughtfully. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50

I am super happy with this purchase. And in true to me fashion, Belladonna is my favorite. Right now, at the time of publish, the Aqua Tofana Collection is sold out but it will be back in time for the holidays! Price for the whole set $55. That price includes shipping and tax and all that. I will update the actual box cost as soon as it’s listed again. Don’t forget this box comes with a look book and 3 awesome stickers! I hope you enjoyed this post. I hope you make good choices! Have a fabulous day y’all.
