ILNP ~ Eclipse

*Purchased by me

Hey friends! Today I have for you the coveted Eclipse by ILNP! I know it’s everywhere at the moment so thanks so much for coming here to see it 🙂 Let’s check this beauty out.

Eclipse is a black based multichrome polish. Red and orange are the most prominent colors that show through but the green and blue are also there. It’s an easy change as well. You will not need extreme angles to see the red and orange. I actually think this polish looks coolest in the bottle. It shows the colors really well. My pics didn’t show the multichrome like I would have liked. I promise as soon as I move I will figure out better lighting for multichromes! Luckily you can see the bottle pic and the macros. You can use 2 thicker coats but I used 3 thinner coats for my swatches. Formula was great!! Price: $12.50

I do believe this is the first black multichrome. Don’t quote me but I can’t find any others. Feel free to correct me in the comments if you know otherwise! Eclipse made for the perfect Halloween mani ❤ I loved my nails so much! Have you picked this up yet? Again, I would love to do bestie twin nails so let me know! Have a great day y’all 🙂

Quixotic Polish ~ Fall Into Autumn Trio

*Provided for review

Did you see those pictures right there^^? That’s what I have for you today ❤ Quixotic Polish Fall Into Autumn Trio. It’s such a well rounded collection! Holo with mega shimmer, multi chrome, and a flakie PACKED jelly! You are gonna love them and you are going to need them! Lots of pics so lets get to it 🙂

Chartreuse Swizzle is “an ultra bright neon chartreuse with glowing linear holographic effect and subtle red shimmer to give a lit from within feel.” I know this is neon and that is supposed to end with summer but that doesn’t matter at all here. The shimmer makes this polish feel like fall. And for Halloween?!?! Omg it’s good! I used 3 thin smooth wonderful coats for my swatch with glossy and matte top coat. I honestly don’t like it matte. Holos shouldn’t be matte. It’s just been my order of operations lately. It does however look like a nice shimmer when matte if you don’t want it to be holo. But that’s weird…

How Merlot Can You Go is “a creamy merlot base absolutely jam packed with bronze/gold/green flakes and a sweet dash of holographic sparkles.” This is more jelly like to me. The amount of flakies in each coat is just nuts. I actually really like this one matte! I kept the art simple because the flakes are gorgeous and I didn’t want to cover them.  I used 3 thin coats plus glossy and matte top coats.

Keep Your Eye On The Fall is “a sweet burnt orange multichrome that shifts between red, orange, gold and green is packed with linear holo, holographic micro flakes, and holo sparks.” Yep, I love it. Perfect formula and the epitome of fall in a bottle. It also stamps 🙂 Super perfect in 2 perfect coats. Did I say perfect? Because it’s perfect! I used glossy and matte top coats for my swatch.

Music City Beauty ~ 5 Year Duo

*Provided for review

*Very picture heavy

Hello! Happy hump day. Today I bring you a few pretties from Music City Beauty. This is a new to me brand. I was definitely excited to try them! This is the 5 year duo. 5 years in the indie polish business is no small feat. The time and effort that goes into owning your own small business is incredible! Congrats Kim ❤

The first polish is Dreams Come True. This is a dark royal blue scattered holo with pink, green and blue flakies. The formula was great. It went on smooth with no issues at all. The flakies were hard to capture on camera but they are there in person. Ill add a bottle macro so you can really see the flakes. I used 2 coats plus glossy and matte top coat for my swatch.

The second polish is called 5 Years And Counting. This one is a multi chrome that flashes between gold, green and red and has silver holo microflakies. 5 Years And Counting was flawless. Super easy to work with and oh so gorgeous. I tried my best to get all the shifts. You will see it best in the macros. I used 3 thin coats for my swatch plus glossy and matte top coats.

LevelUP Lacquer ~ Polish Pickup March 2018

*Provided for review

Hello! Are we all addicted to Polish Pickup Pack yet? If not, click HERE to see what it’s all about. The theme for the month of March is BOOKS!!! Ladies are EXTREMELY happy for this month. Ash, from LevelUP Lacquer, is back with an awesome shifty polish.

“The inspiration picture is A’tuin the Great Star Turtle who travels through space with the Discworld atop his shell. This Discworld is the setting for the book inspiration, The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett.”

Bottled Magic is the perfect polish from this description! I did not take my regular pics for this post. Bottled Magic was not easy to photograph. The polish looks black almost. It is actually a dark purple base with a green multichrome effect. You can see slight gold/red at extreme angles. The green shift makes this polish. It also has crushed silver holo shreds. The first coat was a bit patchy but the second coat built it up perfectly. I used 2 coats with top coat for my swatch.
