Swamp Gloss ~ MaryJane & Manicures Group Custom

*I purchased this duo

Guys! I don’t know if you know but I am a huge smoker! Marijuana of course. I have my medical license before anyone freaks out! So, I follow this awesome group on Facebook called MaryJane & Manicures. For the month of July there was a custom duo for sale from Swamp Gloss polish. Katie came correct with this set. Let’s have a look.

Sssinister Sssalad is a cerulean jelly polish with a strong shimmer that shifts between green, gold, red, pink and a touch of micro holo glitters. This is just what I see, not a description given by the maker so forgive me if I’m off. It’s soooo pretty. This would make a great base for a space/galaxy mani! There is a very slight (VERY SLIGHT) visible nail line for me. Mostly because my free edge is really white. You should be fine with shorter nails or with not so white free edges. I used 3 perfectly smooth coats for my swatches.

There is also this amazing lip balm called Best Buds. It’s root beer and vanilla ice cream scented! If you like root beer floats this is just perfect for you! Best Buds ingredients are: coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, tocopherol (vitamin E), argan oil, rosehip seed oil, EO & FO, sweetner. I have been using it every day since I got it and I can say it’s wonderful. My lips are so soft!

Sadly, I’m pretty sure this is no longer available. I do apologize for that but maybe you could find it in a destash eventually. It really is worth keeping an eye out for. Either way I will link Swamp Gloss below! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ Beach, Please Summer Crellies 2021

*These polishes were provided for review

You didn’t think Jill was done with summer did you?! Nope! Here she is with 3 neon glitter crelly polishes! Polishes you will definitely need before summer is over. Let’s get right to it!

Good Times & Tan Lines is a white based glitter crellies packed with neon glitters in pink, orange, yellow, light orange, green, purple and watermelon. This one is so fun and colorful. Tons of glitter in there so no fishing required! Formula was wonderful for a white crelly! I used 3 coats for my swatches.

Pool Hair, Don’t Care is a bleached green neon glitter crelly packed with neon glitters in blue, orange, yellow, watermelon, and light orange. This one reminds me of pool balls. No idea why but it does! The colors together just make magic with this base color. Just an awesome shade. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Nama’ Stay At The Beach is a grape purple glitter crelly with neon glitters in yellow, green, and pink. I think this one is my favorite. Absolutely love the base color. I actually think this one dries a tad darker than it looks in the bottle. Formula was great! I used 2 coats for my swatches.

The Beach, Please Summer Crellies will be available tomorrow, July 9th, at 7pm EST. Each polish will be $10 or you can buy the set for $28! You might as well just buy the set since you save some money lol!! Let me know what you’re grabbing in the comments! Links below for your shopping pleasure! Have a great weekend y’all! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ July rewind PPU-IPU 2021

*Truly Outrageous 2.0 & Glitter Grabber were provided for review. Pink In The City was purchased by me.

Hey! How are we all doing? How was your weekend? Mine was uneventful. Boring to the max actually lol. Coming up this weekend is Polish Pickup! Are we ready? Are our wallets ready? Let’s check out what Jill from Glisten & Glow has to offer!

Truly Outrageous 2.0 is a blurple crelly polish with different shapes and sizes of pink glitters and pink holo glitters. This 2.0 version is slightly more purple than the original polish. I actually like this base color a little more and I feel that the formula was even a little better. All around just a super smooth formula. I used 3 thin coats but you could probably get away with just 2 regular coats. “Truly Outrageous is inspired by the popular 80’s tv series – Jem and The Holograms! Funny Story, when Jill was in kindergarten she LOVED Jem, since Jem was her favorite she decided that she would rename herself Jem. So on all her papers and school work she wrote her name as Jem. The teachers called her Jem even. When her parents went to the first parent teacher conferences, the teacher said Oh your daughter Jem is just a delight. They said Our daughter name is Jill and everyone had a huge laugh!”

Pink In The City is a neon pink jelly polish jam packed with color shifting iridescent flakies that shift between dark blue and purple. This one is so electric in person! You all need this one in your life! I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Inspiration: Sarah Jessica Parker’s hot pink, ’80s-inspired Zac Posen gown worn at the New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala in 2019. She also paired the look with two mismatched heels from her own fashion line. This was a nod to her Sex in the City character Carrie Bradshaw, who adopted the quirky styling trick on the show.

Glitter Grabber is an amazing product that gets applied after any glitter or flakie dense manicure is done and it’s fully dry and before your top coat. It aids in creating a smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture! Directions: After you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have fully let it dry, you add a nice layer of Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber on top. It is a shiny formula upon application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that texture. Allow to fully dry and then add your glossy or matte top coat! It works at grabbing that extra texture that glitter or flakies can have! In order the pics are as follows: No glitter Grabber, 1 coat Glitter Grabber, 1 coat Glitter Grabber & 1 coat top coat.

So, for July, there are polishes available at Polish Pickup and some are available in the makers shop. PPU shop will be open from July 2nd – July 5th.

  • Truly Outrageous 2.0 – $12.50 PPU shop – no cap
  • Glitter Grabber – $8.00PPU shop – no cap

  • Glisten & Glow ~ Polish Of The Month June 2021

*This polish was provided for review

Hello! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty chill. Not much going on at the moment except for this fantastic polish! Let’s jump right in because I’m super excited to show you this beauty 🙂

Polish Of The Month June 2021 is a multichrome polish that shifts from deep eggplant purple (almost black)/berry/garnet/red/orange/gold/green with added scattered holo. This is the super popular pigment that all makers are using!! I am so glad Jill has one now. I absolutely love the scattered holo in there. It gives it that little something extra. I own another brand with this pigment and I can tell you this formula is way better than the big name expensive stuff! This polish was perfect in just 2 thin coats. Not streaky at all. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

If you weren’t sure already, you need this! It’s so elegant and fun at the same time! Even better? This polish will only be $10 per bottle!! POTM June 2021 will be available on June 11th at 7pm EST. You definitely just need to be there. It’s worth more than every penny. I hope you all have a fantastic day! Thanks for stopping by ❤

    Glisten & Glow ~ May 2021 PPU/IPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! How was your weekend so far? Mine has been full of vacation planning!! My husband and I are renewing our vows on our 10 year anniversary at a resort if all goes to plan! SO. FREAKING. EXCITED!! So my weekend has been great lol. Let me bring you something pretty to get you through the rest of this beautiful Sunday. Jill from Glisten & Glow is bringing us the goods as usual. Let’s have a looksie.

Purple Rose is a vibrant purple mega linear holographic polish with an intense rainbow and blue flame. Here is Jill’s inspiration: “Purple roses have been a long standing guilty pleasure in my family for many years. My grandmother would buy herself one purple rose every month just to brighten her day! Her favorite color was purple and she just loved how unique and special they were. When she passed in May of 2006, we adorned her coffin with them. Yearly on the anniversary of her death all of the women in my family get a purple rose in her honor on that day.” That is just so sweet ❤

Purple Rose can be worn 2 ways which makes this polish just as unique. You can wear it as is without top coat and get that gorgeous purple look. Or you can add top coat and it will transform into a violet blue almost indigo. The holo flame is still just as strong in the sun as well! So fantastic worn either way!!

Purple Rose will be $12.50 per bottle with no cap.

Glisten & Glow ~ Polish Of The Month May 2021

*This polish was provided for review

Hey friends! How has your week been? I hope it was all good. I can even add to the good with this new POTM from Glisten & Glow. It’s just breathtaking. Let’s check it out.

Polish Of The Month May 2021 is a bold royal blue holo micro glitter polish with added linear holo. Just wow. I have very little words. Jill said this was a full coverage glitter but I wasn’t expecting an almost 1 coater!! Formula for such a dense glitter is freaking phenomenal. I used 2 coats plus Glitter Grabber and top coat for my swatches.

So what do you think? I hope you love it as much as I do. This is close to my birthstone as well so I really love it. Polish Of The Month May 2021 releases today, April 9th at 7pm EST. Make sure when you grab it you also grab a bottle of Glitter Grabber. You’ll need it for this polish and it’s such a good product to have if you like glitter. This polish will be $12 per bottle. Glitter Grabber is $7.50 per bottle. I hope you have your shopping fingers ready! See you at 7! Have a great weekend y’all ❤

Nvr Enuff Polish ~ Mary’s Nightmare Moon

*This polish was provided for review

Hey y’all! Today I have for you a monthly polish. Nvr Enuff Polish brings you Mary’s Monthly Mary’s Nightmare Moon. This one is jaw dropping. Let’s have a look.

Mary’s Nightmare Moon is a deep blurple jelly packed full of pink and blue glitter with a blue micro sparkle. MNM is inspired by Princess Luna, the keeper of night, from My Little Pony. I did not expect this polish to glow the way it does. In any light you can see the blue micro sparkle. So. Freaking. Gorgeous!! I can’t gush enough about this one. The jelly formula went on nice and smooth and was totally even. Even with all the glitter. I only needed a single coat of top coat for my swatches because the glitter stayed embedded in the jelly and didn’t leave much texture at all. Such a well done polish. 2 coats for my swatches.

Do you need it? I think you need it! Its available now for $11. Run, don’t walk, and grab your bottle. I hope you enjoyed Mary’s Nightmare Moon as much as I do. Thanks so much for stopping by 🙂 Have a great day ❤

    Boss Lady Polish

*These polishes were provided for review

*Note 12/21/2020: Boss Lady Lacquer is changing over to a 10-free base which should get rid of the tiny bit of grit in the polishes!! YAY 🙂

Hi y’all! 5 more days! I still have packages coming lol. I hope you are better prepared than I am. My favorite thing so far this year is my tree! Because of the high ceilings in our new apartment, we were able to get a 7 1/2 foot tree. Add the stand and it’s about 8 1/2 feet tall! I love it!!! And you are gonna love these polishes as much as I love my tree! Let’s check them out 🙂

Glow Getter is a yellow gold polish with red and gold holo micro glitters, a gold sparkle and holo shimmer. This one is super unique to my collection. Formula was great but the finish is a little gritty. Not textured but a fine grit. I used Glitter Grabber to smooth it out but I think 2 coats of top coat will also work. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10.

Lipstick & Café Latte is a med bright pink polish with red and gold holo micro glitters, tiny blue glitters, large iridescent hexes, and a holo shimmer. I love this one so much. the glitters compliment the base color so nicely. Again, this polish dries to a slightly gritty texture. Didn’t even matter to me lol. Glitter Grabber for the win! you could get away with 1 coat for this polish but alas I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10

Money Mood is an emerald green with green micro flakes, tiny and small blue holo glitters, small gold holo squares, and a holo shimmer. My love for greens absolutely loves this shade of green. Money Mood is such a fitting name for this one. Formula is good but again with the grit. not even sure what’s causing this. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10

Heels & Hustle is a grape purple polish with multi colored micro glitters, small purple hexes, and a holo shimmer. This is another one where the glitters really compliment the base. Such a fun, awesome polish. Formula is good but grit. Seeing a trend here? Like I said, it’s easy to fix and not an issue at all. Just want to be as up front as possible! I used 2 easy peasy coats for my swatches. Price $10

Boss Lady is a medium dusty blue polish with multi colored micro glitters, small gold holo hexes and squares, and a holo shimmer. On all of these the holo shimmer is so slight but it adds such a pretty sparkle to the polish. This blue color is so fantastic. i absolutely love the holo squares that are in there. Grit, but no biggie. I used 2 perfect coats for my swatches. Price $10

So what do you think? I am super happy with the pigmentation. These are nice bold colors in just 2 easy coats. For a new brands opening collection, I think Boss Lady Polish nailed it! This collection is a one and done type so once they are gone they are totally gone. Make sure you click the shop link below to grab yours! Have a fabulous Christmas week! If you don’t celebrate Christmas I hope your week is just as magical ❤

    Fanchromatic Nails

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey guys! Last post before the move. I was sent a few mini polishes to swatch for Fanchromatic Nails. Stopped packing for a few to get this written so let’s get right to it because I am just so busy!!

Glimmer is a pastel neon purple with various pastel matte glitters and matte white glitters. This was a tad sheer but the third coat should make it even and opaque. This is so pretty. It could work throughout the year as well. Such a flattering color. I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.

Most Imperial Majesty is a multi chrome polish with holo flakes. It shifts between brown, gold, copper, rust red, and green. Most of the time you will have this gorgeous brown color. The formula on this was fantastic. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.

Princess Bubblegum is a neon pink polish with square white glitters and gold metallic flakes. This is a true neon and will glow under black light. You also don’t need a white base to make it pop! I really love this one. I couldn’t capture the true brightness but I do have a black light glow photo. 2 thicker coats would work but I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.

All of these polishes are available now in Fanchromatic Nails shop along with tons of other stuff. Make sure you stop by and have a look. Especially now with the holidays so close! I hope you have a wonderful week y’all. Be back soon! Links below.

Bailey Sarian x Loud Lacquer ~ Aqua Tofana Collection

*These polishes were purchased by me

Hey everyone! How’s it going? I’m about to be packing so my blog will slow down for a bit. I can’t wait to move. So exciting to go where we get to live! Anyways, who here hasn’t heard of Bailey Sarian? If you like true crime chances are you have heard of her. If you like true crime and makeup you have definitely heard of her. I’m slightly (fully) obsessed. I have to admit that it was 98% of the reason I bought the Aqua Tofana Collection! The quality of the polish just made me that much happier. Let’s see what Bailey and Loud Lacquer brought us.

Saint is a dense glitter topper with hex glitters in different sizes. I didn’t mention the color because I’m just not too sure. It’s like a rose gold with a hint of pumpkin. It sure is pretty either way. The color is what makes this polish so unique. The formula for this glitter is fantastic. I probably should have painted 1 coat then sponged it on for coverage but I used 3 coats for my swatch instead. Price $14.50

Belladonna is a medium mint creme that leans a little aqua. This shade is perfection. The formula is out of this world. These were a tad expensive but the quality is well worth the cost. Its so smooth and silky. Totally self leveling. I could go on and on about this polish so let’s just stop here by saying it’s perfect. I used 1 coat for my swatches. Price $12.50

Giulia is a deep violet shimmer polish. Again, an amazing polish overall. Some shimmer polishes will leave streaks. This one did not. Giulia is a tiny bit thin so polish carefully as to not flood the cuticles. I didn’t have too much of an issue. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50

Antidote is an antiqued gold polish. I really liked this one. It’s not quite a metallic but it’s close. This is one of those polishes that will look good on anyone of any skin tone! Formula was fabulous but this one will leave brush streaks so polish thoughtfully. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50

I am super happy with this purchase. And in true to me fashion, Belladonna is my favorite. Right now, at the time of publish, the Aqua Tofana Collection is sold out but it will be back in time for the holidays! Price for the whole set $55. That price includes shipping and tax and all that. I will update the actual box cost as soon as it’s listed again. Don’t forget this box comes with a look book and 3 awesome stickers! I hope you enjoyed this post. I hope you make good choices! Have a fabulous day y’all.
