Hey y’all! Today I have for you a monthly polish. Nvr Enuff Polish brings you Mary’s Monthly Mary’s Nightmare Moon. This one is jaw dropping. Let’s have a look.
Mary’s Nightmare Moon is a deep blurple jelly packed full of pink and blue glitter with a blue micro sparkle. MNM is inspired by Princess Luna, the keeper of night, from My Little Pony. I did not expect this polish to glow the way it does. In any light you can see the blue micro sparkle. So. Freaking. Gorgeous!! I can’t gush enough about this one. The jelly formula went on nice and smooth and was totally even. Even with all the glitter. I only needed a single coat of top coat for my swatches because the glitter stayed embedded in the jelly and didn’t leave much texture at all. Such a well done polish. 2 coats for my swatches.
Do you need it? I think you need it! Its available now for $11. Run, don’t walk, and grab your bottle. I hope you enjoyed Mary’s Nightmare Moon as much as I do. Thanks so much for stopping by 🙂 Have a great day ❤
*Note 12/21/2020: Boss Lady Lacquer is changing over to a 10-free base which should get rid of the tiny bit of grit in the polishes!! YAY 🙂
Hi y’all! 5 more days! I still have packages coming lol. I hope you are better prepared than I am. My favorite thing so far this year is my tree! Because of the high ceilings in our new apartment, we were able to get a 7 1/2 foot tree. Add the stand and it’s about 8 1/2 feet tall! I love it!!! And you are gonna love these polishes as much as I love my tree! Let’s check them out 🙂
Glow Getter is a yellow gold polish with red and gold holo micro glitters, a gold sparkle and holo shimmer. This one is super unique to my collection. Formula was great but the finish is a little gritty. Not textured but a fine grit. I used Glitter Grabber to smooth it out but I think 2 coats of top coat will also work. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10.
Lipstick & Café Latte is a med bright pink polish with red and gold holo micro glitters, tiny blue glitters, large iridescent hexes, and a holo shimmer. I love this one so much. the glitters compliment the base color so nicely. Again, this polish dries to a slightly gritty texture. Didn’t even matter to me lol. Glitter Grabber for the win! you could get away with 1 coat for this polish but alas I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10
Money Mood is an emerald green with green micro flakes, tiny and small blue holo glitters, small gold holo squares, and a holo shimmer. My love for greens absolutely loves this shade of green. Money Mood is such a fitting name for this one. Formula is good but again with the grit. not even sure what’s causing this. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10
Heels & Hustle is a grape purple polish with multi colored micro glitters, small purple hexes, and a holo shimmer. This is another one where the glitters really compliment the base. Such a fun, awesome polish. Formula is good but grit. Seeing a trend here? Like I said, it’s easy to fix and not an issue at all. Just want to be as up front as possible! I used 2 easy peasy coats for my swatches. Price $10
Boss Lady is a medium dusty blue polish with multi colored micro glitters, small gold holo hexes and squares, and a holo shimmer. On all of these the holo shimmer is so slight but it adds such a pretty sparkle to the polish. This blue color is so fantastic. i absolutely love the holo squares that are in there. Grit, but no biggie. I used 2 perfect coats for my swatches. Price $10
So what do you think? I am super happy with the pigmentation. These are nice bold colors in just 2 easy coats. For a new brands opening collection, I think Boss Lady Polish nailed it! This collection is a one and done type so once they are gone they are totally gone. Make sure you click the shop link below to grab yours! Have a fabulous Christmas week! If you don’t celebrate Christmas I hope your week is just as magical ❤
Hey guys! Last post before the move. I was sent a few mini polishes to swatch for Fanchromatic Nails. Stopped packing for a few to get this written so let’s get right to it because I am just so busy!!
Glimmer is a pastel neon purple with various pastel matte glitters and matte white glitters. This was a tad sheer but the third coat should make it even and opaque. This is so pretty. It could work throughout the year as well. Such a flattering color. I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.
Most Imperial Majesty is a multi chrome polish with holo flakes. It shifts between brown, gold, copper, rust red, and green. Most of the time you will have this gorgeous brown color. The formula on this was fantastic. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.
Princess Bubblegum is a neon pink polish with square white glitters and gold metallic flakes. This is a true neon and will glow under black light. You also don’t need a white base to make it pop! I really love this one. I couldn’t capture the true brightness but I do have a black light glow photo. 2 thicker coats would work but I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Price $5.50 mini $11 full size.
All of these polishes are available now in Fanchromatic Nails shop along with tons of other stuff. Make sure you stop by and have a look. Especially now with the holidays so close! I hope you have a wonderful week y’all. Be back soon! Links below.
Hey everyone! How’s it going? I’m about to be packing so my blog will slow down for a bit. I can’t wait to move. So exciting to go where we get to live! Anyways, who here hasn’t heard of Bailey Sarian? If you like true crime chances are you have heard of her. If you like true crime and makeup you have definitely heard of her. I’m slightly (fully) obsessed. I have to admit that it was 98% of the reason I bought the Aqua Tofana Collection! The quality of the polish just made me that much happier. Let’s see what Bailey and Loud Lacquer brought us.
Saint is a dense glitter topper with hex glitters in different sizes. I didn’t mention the color because I’m just not too sure. It’s like a rose gold with a hint of pumpkin. It sure is pretty either way. The color is what makes this polish so unique. The formula for this glitter is fantastic. I probably should have painted 1 coat then sponged it on for coverage but I used 3 coats for my swatch instead. Price $14.50
Belladonna is a medium mint creme that leans a little aqua. This shade is perfection. The formula is out of this world. These were a tad expensive but the quality is well worth the cost. Its so smooth and silky. Totally self leveling. I could go on and on about this polish so let’s just stop here by saying it’s perfect. I used 1 coat for my swatches. Price $12.50
Giulia is a deep violet shimmer polish. Again, an amazing polish overall. Some shimmer polishes will leave streaks. This one did not. Giulia is a tiny bit thin so polish carefully as to not flood the cuticles. I didn’t have too much of an issue. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50
Antidote is an antiqued gold polish. I really liked this one. It’s not quite a metallic but it’s close. This is one of those polishes that will look good on anyone of any skin tone! Formula was fabulous but this one will leave brush streaks so polish thoughtfully. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $13.50
I am super happy with this purchase. And in true to me fashion, Belladonna is my favorite. Right now, at the time of publish, the Aqua Tofana Collection is sold out but it will be back in time for the holidays! Price for the whole set $55. That price includes shipping and tax and all that. I will update the actual box cost as soon as it’s listed again. Don’t forget this box comes with a look book and 3 awesome stickers! I hope you enjoyed this post. I hope you make good choices! Have a fabulous day y’all.
Hey nail peeps. How was your weekend? Mine were just a bunch of days bunched together lol. My weekends are on Wednesday and Thursday. I did get some quality time with my girls though so that was really nice. Anywho, we have the November PPU coming up. Would you like to see what Ashley is bringing to the “Red Carpet”? Well for this inspiration it’s the purple carpet. Ash chose Taika Waititi’s red carpet look from Endgame. How freaking fancy right?! Let’s check it out.
Ragnarok & Roll is a soft light purple crelly polish with purple shimmer, black, white, and iridescent glitters in various sizes and shapes. This is such a delicate polish. The crelly formula is probably Ash’s best so far. And even better, this is her first polish using the new wide brush! What a dream. I absolutely loved working with this polish. You could get away with 2 thicker coats but I used 3 thinner coats for my swatches. Price $11 Cap 200.
Don’t you just love it? I love a soft purple this time of year. The pop of the iridescent glitter is such an added bonus. It’s always changing in different lighting. Polish Pickup will be open November 6th-9th only so don’t miss your chance for this beauty. Hope you all have a great week!
Hello! Home from my quick little getaway and I feel so refreshed. It’s amazing what 2 nights on the water can do for you. Anyways, I am back with LevelUp Lacquer‘s contribution for October’s PPU theme of animation! Let’s have a look at this polish inspired by water breathing (10th form) from Demon Slayer (Anime series).
Constant Flux is a medium blue crelly with a scattered holographic shimmer and white and iridescent glitters in multiple shapes and sizes. I love the way the iridescent glitters subtly flash through the base color. This polish was a little on the thick side but nothing you can’t work with! This polish can be worn in 2-3 coats or layered over a darker color. I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $11. Cap: 250 US / 50 UK
I love Constant Flux. It’s something I have never seen before and it’s so very pretty. PPU will be open from October 2nd – October 5th. Don’t forget to add this unique beauty to your wish list! Links below. Have a great week y’all 🙂
Hey guys! Glisten & Glow is back for October’s Polish Pickup. If you haven’t seen the pics yet hold your hats. She’s a doozy! Polish Pickup‘s theme for October is Cartoon/Animation. Truly Outrageous was inspired by Jill’s fanatic love for Jem And The Holograms. Let’s have a looksie 🙂
Truly Outrageous is exactly that. Truly outrageous!! This polish is a burple jelly polish with various shades, shapes, and sizes of pink glitters. Pretty much the epitome of burple color. My pics do lean a little blue so I’ll make sure you know what pic is most color accurate. Truly Outrageous is so fun! The sparkle is fantastic and the depth is just awesome. And it’s SO squishy! I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow and I do believe this will be on my toes. I used 3 thin coats for my swatch plus glitter grabber and top coat. Price $12.50 Cap: Under 395 for both US & UK.
Before I show you my fun nail art, I want to tell you about Jill’s top coat. Glisten & Glow Top Coat is an award winning, fast drying, glossy top coat. After using this top coat your nails will be dry in 2-4 minutes or less and they will be durable and long lasting with days to weeks of no tip wear or chipping! It has a crystal clear, shiny/glossy, “wet/gel” like appearance. It seals and evens glitters and flakie polishes. It won’t smear your nail art and it glows under black light! Dang that’s a lot lol. I say this all the time but I have been buying this top coat since 2013 and I haven’t bought another brand since! I have reviewed but never purchased anything but this. It has my heart and my hands ❤ Price $7.50 Cap: US-230 UK-5
Polish Pickup will only be open from October 2 at 11am EST until October 5 at 11:59pm EST. Make sure these go on your wish list!! Have a great day! Links below 🙂
Hello! How are we all doing? I am fabulous! It’s 71 degrees out and all my windows are open. I love this time of year. The fresh air is just so perfect and refreshing. A perfect fall type day to bring you Glisten & GlowsFall 2020 trio! 3 gorgeous glitter crellies that are a little out of the norm color wise. On to the pics!
The Great Grape Stomp is a white based crelly with various shapes and sizes of purple, lavender, garnet, grey, and gun metal glitters. An absolute must have for any purple lover. The polish is nice and creamy. Glitter packed but not chunky. No need to fish for glitters as this has tons! The glitter colors all compliment each other so nicely. An all around pleasure to use. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10.
Jack O’Lantern Blaze is the only color you might expect to see in a fall collection. It’s a white based crelly polish with various shapes and sizes of chocolate, yellow, and orange glitters. This screams falloween. Again, a super smooth polish filled to the brim with glitter. I think of s’mores and pumpkin pie when I wear this. 2 coats for full coverage. Price $10
Harvest Moon Skies is a white based crelly loaded with various shapes and sizes of navy, turquoise, grey, gun metal, and aqua glitters. This one is my favorite. The colors together are unique but so very pretty. I especially love the grey and gun metal glitter. Not a color I would expect at all but it totally works. As with the others, this is super smooth but glitter packed! 2 coats for my swatch. Price $10
Did you notice that all of my manis looked smooth? That’s because I used Glitter Grabber! After you put on your polish, allow it to dry fully then use a coat of Glitter Grabber before you top coat! Totally smooth! It is a miracle product that has many uses. Make sure you follow Glisten & Glow‘s FB page to see what people are saying. If you use glitter you absolutely need Glitter Grabber! Anywho, the Fall 2020 collection will be available for purchase on September 18th at 7pm EST. Set any alarms you have. You will not regret this purchase ever. I will have the links below! Have a great day y’all 🙂
Hey y’all, I’m back. No house. Turns out it needed a new foundation and the seller refused to pay for it. So, for now we are just looking at apartments and will go back to house hunting in a year or so. I’m so sad. The location was EVERYTHING!! But that’s that. Hopefully in a few years we can look again in the same neighborhood. Since this is a review blog, I suppose should get to the reviews huh!? Let’s get to it.
Mystery Polish July 2020 is a bright blue crelly polish with black and black holo glitters in various sizes. To me this is just fantastic. Just look at that blue! It really makes a statement. I’m not always the biggest glitter fan but I absolutely had to have these few polishes. Jill’s crelly formula is as smooth as silk. They level out nicely on their own even with all the glitter. I used only 2 coats in my swatch video but I should have used 3. My pics are 3 coats. The white of my nail shows through without that last coat. Price: $10
Mystery Polish August 2020 is a teal crelly polish with black and black holo glitter in various sizes. Oh look! Another teal… I just can’t help myself. For real. It’s become an obsession lately! It just looks so good with my skin tone. This super smooth polish went on perfectly in 3 thin coats. Price $10
Mystery Polish September 2020 is a bright green crelly with black and black holo glitters in various sizes. I had to have this one because my birthday is in September. It turned out to be my favorite. This shade of green is just so fun and definitely eye catching. The holo also seems to be a bit more visible in this one as well. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Price: $10
Overall, I am super happy with this purchase! I have already worn the teal more than once and so has my daughter. It’s also on her toes as well as mine. Like I said before, obsessed. I’m not sure I have ever had a polish with a fill line in less than a week lol. If you are interested in any of these, the link to Jill’s shop will be down below. I hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Hi guys! Today I have a different type of post. I did a wear test on some Color Street samples I was sent. Just for funsies. These are not the best pics since this was all done on my right hand. The first color I was sent was called Moon River. A dusty deep blue with silver glitters. I loved the color so much. I had never used strips like this before. They adhere so well. They even stretch a little to fit YOUR nail shape perfectly. Here are some progress pics.
July 1st. Look how amazing these still look after 9 days!!
July 3rd. I took them off 2 days early because I was starting to pick them off 😳
The second sample I was sent I recorded how to apply them. That will be on my YouTube. These lasted the entire 2 weeks and I beat them up really good. I changed diapers, did dishes, swatched about 15 polishes, plus the normal wear and tear. This color was called Tokyo Lights. A gold and fuchsia glitter bomb. I loved it so much.
July 16th. This was my fault. I have a sharp curve in my nail and I didn’t adhere it as well as I should have. I also nicked the side 🙄
This was after removal. You remove it just like regular polish! Pic to show that there is no leftover damage!! I got these both from my friend Patricia so I will leave her shop link below! Each set comes with a small file, nail prep pad, and the nail strips. The pack comes with 16 strips in 8 different sizes. Here are the prices:
$11: solid colors and clear nail art
$13: glitter nail art, nail art
All packs are Buy 3 get 1 free except french which are Buy 1 get 1.
I highly recommend these if you don’t want to touch up your nails every few days. This is a super simple, no mess way of having your nails painted. And no dry time! The price is pretty good too. I actually thought they were more expensive so I was schooled. Thank you so much to Patricia for putting up with my forgetful self! I asked her polish names multiple times 😆 Make sure you watch my application video to see how easy these are to put on! Have a fantastic weekend y’all ♥️
