Hello! How has your week been? Mine has been pretty typical of a stay at home mom with a 6 month old! My son is just a super happy baby so its almost all fun… almost lol. Today I am bringing you the Peace, Love, Sunshine Collection from Dr.’s Remedy. Remember them? I have had them on my blog a few times. In case you don’t, here is some info. Dr.’s Remedy polishes are formulated by doctors. They are vegan and totally safe to use. I won’t weigh this post down so I am going to link their info HERE. Please go visit and see what they have to offer. Oh! One more thing. The polishes are filled with things like: tea tree oil, biotin, wheat protein, and other vitamins! Ok. Moving on.
Sweet Soleil is a soft buttery yellow creme polish. I expected to have issues with the application but I had none!! Yellows can be picky so I was very happily surprised. The formula of this polish is perfectly creamy while also being very opaque. If you polish on the thicker side you could get away with 1 coat. I used 2 coats for my swatches.
POLISHED Pale Peach is a gorgeous pale peachy pink. This color leaned nude as well. This is perfect for the end of summer. PPP is also a super work friendly color. Just one of those super simple must haves. Again, this was really opaque. Well, they are all very opaque. I used 2 coats for my swatch.
TACTFUL Turmeric is the perfect sunset yellow-orange. Ya know the one I mean? The super bold sun? That one! TT really stands out on the nail. It has an extremely nice creme formula. This is screaming summer to me. I used 2 smooth coats for me swatch.
Overall this collection really comes through for the later part of summer. Not even gonna try and say that I won’t use these all year because I will. They are just completely effortless to apply. The Peace, Love, Sunshine Collection is actually all sold separately so you don’t have to get all three together. You can mix and match with any of their colors. Dr.’s Remedy polishes are $17.25 a piece. Absolutely worth it considering the ingredients and quality. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope to see you soon 🙂
Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend 🐇🐣 Have you ever seen Rocky Horror Picture Show? I have only seen it once! It was definitely different. Not for me per say. Whether you like the movie or not, you will love the Time Warp collection. Let’s check them out!
Dammit Janet I Love You is a nude base with bubblegum pink micro flakies. Such a pretty nude. Not sure that this one fits my skin tone but I really don’t care. It’s just that gorgeous. This polish is pretty opaque in just 1 coat but I would use 2 just to even it out. My swatches show 2 coats.

Late Night Double Feature Picture Show is a one coat deep red crème. I am obsessed with this color. Deep vampy reds are my favorite. I actually had a tiny bit of unevenness on the first coat so I used 2. It’s most likely because of how thin I polish. If you polish thicker you should be good with the one coat. LNDFPS also stamps! Like really freaking well. I will recommend that you polish slowly and carefully. This polish will stain your cuticles. I had absolutely no nail staining but watch your skin!! 2 coats for my swatches.

Hot Patootie Bless My Soul is a black base with metallic red micro flakies and silver holographic micro glitter. Holy mother of pearl is this one amazing! The fact that it’s a black base blew my mind. When I first got these I told Lexi that I loved her reds! No idea it was a black base. This is another one that could work with 1 thicker coat. Formula was smooth as hell for a crap ton of micro flakies! I used 2 coats for my swatches. Look at the flash shot 😍

Let’s Do The Time Warp Again is a holographic rainbow glitter topper with various size and shape glitter. This one had me staring at my nails. So blingy. I do the Time Warp dance with my daughters on Just Dance! It’s a fun quirky type song that will definitely make you move. This is a glitter bomb so a peel off base coat is a good idea. I used 2 thin coats then I sponged on a third coat for my swatches. I also put it over LNDFPS!

How much do you love each polish??? I think my favorite is Hot Patootie Bless My Soul. So unique and fabulous. Each polish has a separate price. Late Night Double Feature Picture Show will be $7. Let’s Do The Time Warp Again will be $8. Dammit Janet I Love You will be $9. Hot Patootie Bless My Soul will be $10. Overall the Time Warp collection will cost $34. I think that’s a great price considering the wide range of polish. Crème, glitter, flakies. You know, all the good stuffs we want in a good collection. The Time Warp collection is already available so don’t wait! Go grab them all today! Links below. Have a great week ❤
Greetings friends 👋 I have so much stuff coming. April 12th is a very popular release date. Right now I will be showing you the Americana Collection from Stella Chroma. This collection has it all, flakes, shimmer, holo, and crème. Stella Chroma is such great quality nail polish. Let’s check them out.
Cherry Blossom “is a creamy, pale shade of pink with highlights of silver holographic flakies. It is opaque in 2-3 coats. Inspired by the cherry blossoms that bloom all over Washington, D.C. in the spring.” This polish is so soft and girly. Very perfect for spring time! Formula is immaculate. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Before I forget to warn you: I am no good at hand drawn art. I just try it anyways because I want to be good 😂 Be nice ✌

The Arch “is a purely holographic silver polish inspired by the famous Gateway Arch in St Louis, Missouri. I had seen this structure many times in pictures, but when I saw it with my own two eyes, the sun was glinting off of it and it was beautiful! And as a lover of heights, going to the top and feeling it sway in the wind was amazing as well. Wear your shades and put 2-3 coats of this one on your nails.” Lover of heights? Does that really exist?! I get an upset stomach just watching high things on TV. This polish is the closest I will ever get to the top of that arch so thankfully it’s phenomenal. Nice and smooth. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. I hope you see the “arches” in my nail art!

We’re Golden “is a deep orange packed with all sorts of gold flakies and shimmery goodness with a bit of holo thrown in as a nod to the absolutely amazing Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I’ve never been to the area, but it is definitely on my bucket list. Opaque in 2 coats.” OOOHHH This one is so good. In my next post you will see how well this baby stamps. Amazingly perfect formula. 2 fantastic coats for my swatches. This is possibly the worst drawing of the golden gate bridge ever. Sorry!!

Fenway “is a springy green cream inspired by the Green Monster in Fenway Park in Boston. Mr. SC and I are huge baseball fans and no matter what hitter is up to bat, it is super exciting to see the baseball fly over that big wall! Opaque in 2 coats.” This is my favorite. I was born into a family of Red Sox fans so you know I’m also a fan. And because I live in CT I have actually been there a few times to see that fantastic wall in person. This formula is just perfect. There really isn’t a better word because it’s so perfect lol. 2 exceptional coats for my swatches.

Do you love them? They actually all stamp! I really cant wait to show you We’re Golden stamped in my next post. It’s a chameleon type color. The Americana Collection will be available April 12th. Cherry Blossom, The Arch, and We’re Golden will all be $12 and Fenway will be $10. You can purchase these as a set for $41 from 4/12-4/26. They’ll be available only individually after that. Make sure you save yourself some cash and get them sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for my next post which is also Stella Chroma!! TTY asap 👍
Hello! The time has finally come to finish the Mother Earth series from Glisten & Glow ❤ I could not be happier with these cremes! They stamp perfectly, they gradient flawlessly, and they watermarble oh so smoothly. Check ’em out 🙂
Mother Terra is a warm chocolate brown crème polish. It really is like painting chocolate on your nails. It makes me want sweets 🙂 This polish could easily be a 1 coater. I used 2 thin coats with G&G glossy and matte top coats for my swatches.
Mother Fauna is a dark hunter green crème polish. I swear this is green. My pics make it look black almost. I really appreciate the deepness though because when stamping it keeps that real deep tone. Again, this could be a 1 coater. Formula for Jill’s crème polishes is perfection. Like the literal definition of crème ❤ For my swatches I used 2 thin coats and G&G glossy and matte top coats.
Mother Fire is a deep berry crème polish. This has the most perfect purple-ness to it. so perfect for a berry color. This one I would say is more of a 2 coater. It definitely gets deeper when layered over itself. Formula is butter 🙂 I used 3 thin coats plus G&G glossy and matte top coats for my swatches. Just an FYI: I usually need an extra coat of polish because I polish very thin. I also have the whitest free edge that loves to show itself through anything!!
Mother Wind is a rich navy blue crème polish. I love this one so much. It stamps in the exact color you see in the bottle!! Seriously, perfection. This is one of the 1 coaters that I used 2 coats for lol. My swatches have 2 coats with G&G glossy and matte top coats.
Here are some other look I did using these polishes! All art was done using only Mother Earth polishes parts 1 & 2 🙂
Now the importants: These polishes are very pigmented so doubling up on your base coat is highly recommended! Personally, I only had staining issues with Mother Wind. It left my cuticles blue so polish and remove carefully! Each polish will be $8.50 USD. You can purchase the whole set for $32 USD. They will be available on September 13th at 7pm EST. Links to the shop are below! Which ones will you be getting?
Hello! The weekend is coming to a close but I have something to brighten the mood! Jill, owner of Glisten & Glow, has some amazing neons coming to the shop on June 22 ❤ If you follow G&G anywhere then you have already seen these. I don’t think it would hurt to give another look, though, do you? Didn’t think so 🙂 Let’s go!
The Summer Livin’ Collection has 5 crème neons that are opaque in 2-3 coats and need no white base. They stamp and watermarble like a dream. I have never seen a neon that doesn’t dry matte. These do not! They keep a little shine to them. It’s so neat.
BBQ & Ball Games is a neon yellow crème. Very good formula for a neon. Even better formula for a yellow!! 3 coats plus G&G top coat and G&G matte top coat.
Slushies & Sun Tans is a neon orange crème. 3 coats with G&G top coat and G&G matte top coat.
Road Trips & Roller Coasters is a neon green crème. I love this one. The color green is just perfect. 3 coats with G&G top coat and G&G matte top coat.
Watermelon & Waterslides is a neon pink crème. And I do stress the NEON!!! 3 coats with G&G top coat and G&G matte top coat.
Last one is Flip Flops & Fireworks. This one is a neon purple crème. I only needed 2 coats for this one. Wonderful formula! With G&G top coat and G&G matte top coat.
Here is some art I did using all of the Summer Livin’ Collection!
I don’t care how many neons you have, these are different and you need them. Everything about them is just flawless! Don’t forget, these release in the shop on June 22nd 2018 at 7pm eastern time. As a set they will be $40 USD or you can pick your favorites for $8.50 USD each! Let me know in the comments which ones your grabbing. Links are below. Have a great week all ❤
Happy Monday friends! I hope whoever has a long weekend is thoroughly enjoying it 🙂 Today I bring to you some dark, vampy, gorgeous, stamping polishes from Moonflower Polish. Can you believe I have never used stamping polish before?!?! I have tons of stamping plates and stampers. I just always used what I had for regular polishes. It makes such a difference in stamping. What I really liked about these polishes is that even though they are dark, they show up nicely. It’s all because Nadia added a complimentary shimmer to each one of these. Would you like to see?
All of these polishes have the same opaque and smooth formula. Each one of these could be a one coater when used on their own. I used 2 coats for each polish in my swatches. It’s just a thing I have to do… Idk. Anyways, all of these dry to a matte finish naturally. I added top coat to show off the shimmer. Please take note: These polishes have a very opaque formula that may lead to staining of your nails, skin, and stampers! I did not have this issue at all. On to the pics!
Let’s start with Navy Blue. Navy Blue is a dark blue creme with blue-purple color shifting shimmer. This one is really dark. I am such a sucker for a good shimmer! Check it out 🙂
Next, we have Dark Green. Dark Green is a hunter green creme with green-yellow-gold color shifting shimmer. This one is my favorite. I don’t own any other greens like this and it is just perfect ❤
Plum is another that is really dark. The shimmer showcases the color best! Plum is a dark purple creme with blue-purple color shifting shimmer.
Teal is such a gorgeous color ❤ Teal is a dusty teal creme with green-blue-purple color shifting shimmer. (Note, it’s not a dark teal but it’s darker than my previous teal/mint/turquoise/blue-green polishes).
Wine is the last one in the set. Wine is a dark red creme with red-gold-bronze color shifting shimmer. This one will make you feel bad a**!!
Now for all the important stuff. The Vampy Cremes will be releasing on Feb 23rd, 2018 at 9am-ish. Prices are $8 each for the 15ml (full size), $38 for the set; and $5 each for the minis, $23 for the set. These aren’t just for stamping! Keep in mind that these are 1 coat colors that can get your mani done way faster! Make sure you follow Moonflower Polish on all the social media sites for updates and more pics! Links below. Have a great week y’all!!
Hello! How are we on this bleh Monday? I can help with that bleh! I have pretties 🙂 A 10 piece Valentine’s Day collection called Jet City Burlesque. Whether you are into celebrating or not, this collection has something for you. Holo, shimmer, glitter, texture, creme, jelly… am I missing anything? Seriously, some of the best quality polish I have tried! Have you usedJoy Lacquer? I have and they are fabulous! I will say that these were all a tad thick. It could be the cold or maybe just the makers formula but either way they are workable without any tweaking! They are just thick for my taste. It’s all about preference. That being said, they are super smooth and the thickness makes for amazing stamping polish. Let’s get into the first 5!
Pink door is the first one. “Whether triple, colored or hidden, burlesque performances happen behind many different doors in the Seattle area. Every collection needs a soft pink hue and this one fits the bill as perfectly as the ballet pink slipper it was inspired by. Soothing and pleasant, Pink Door has a true creme finish and is opaque in 1-2 coats.” This is exactly right. Totally a 1 coater actually if you polish carefully. And she stamps! I used 2 coats with top coat for these pics. This one will be $10.00 USD.
I added some mermaid art with vinyls from Toadarrific Vinyls! I also used The Rhinestone Housewife also from this collection.
The next polish is also a crème! Stage Kitten: “This is the term used for the stage assistants that are responsible for gathering the performers garments after they strip out of them. The true unsung heroes of burlesque! Stage Kitten is a warm taupe, almost leaning mauve. The color looks as soft as a kitten and it’s finish is a rich true creme, similar to the color of a perfect vanilla latte.” Again, this is easily a 1 coat polish and it stamps. Joy’s crème polishes level out beautifully! This one will also be $10.00 USD.
The art I added to Stage Kitten also used Toadarrific Vinyls. Adorable unicorns using a few polishes from this collection!
Lost A Pastie! is up next. “Equal parts titillating and horror inducing, losing a pastie happens. You never know when or where but it strikes terror in the hearts of club owners in the Seattle area due to liquor laws. Lost a Pastie! the polish, is a marvelous interpretation of nude encrusted with Swarovoski crystal. It’s packed with holographic silver and gold glitter that appeals to the sparkle fanatic in all of us. It also contains a range of ultra-luminous orange, pink, teal and purple opalescent glitters. The nude polish base contains a light blue flash that subtly complements the abundant glitter effects, and creates a truly exhilarating finish. Full opacity is reached in 3 coats or you may try applying one coat over Stage Kitten, a similar nude base color. This color is optimally applied lightly for the first 2 coats, allowing it to dry slightly between each.” I used 3 thin coats for my swatch. it will have a slight glitter texture to it so make sure to use a good top coat! Also, a peel off glitter for easy removal! This will be $12.50 USD for a full size.
And again with the Toadarrific Vinyls… This time a little wintery. I used Show At Midnight for that gorgeous dark sparkle.
The Rhinestone Housewife is a favorite of mine from the Jet City Burlesque collection. “A tagline given to Hottie McNaughty, it embodies everything that Hottie stood for. A sparkly house with a quirky gem-of-a-hostess. This raspberry color is the pink cousin of our luscious red Glitter Lips polish. It sparkles and shimmers with facets just like that of it’s namesake. Silver sparks with a chrome effects are scattered in with copious amounts of pink holographic microglitter in shades of magenta, punchy pink strawberry and bubblegum. This mouthwatering shade is a must-have for pink polish lovers.” This one has a slight texture to it. You can leave it textured or add a good top coat to smooth it out. I used 2 coats with top coat to make that sparkle pop! Sooooooooo pretty! This will be available full size for $12.50 USD.
Yay!! Some stamping 🙂 I love stamping. It’s my favorite. I added some bling to the bling!
Lastly for today we have Hottie McNaughty. “A local Seattle performer, Hottie has been described as the love child of Bugs Bunny and Carol Burnett. Hottie was known for using humor and ‘giving good face’ in her performances and performing to odd and unique music. One of her signature stage colors being orange, the polish made to represent her started with a fire-y tangerine base semi-creme base. It’s scattered with orange and contrasting purple iridescent glitter ranging from medium to large sizes. The more subtle elements include blue, orange and gold microglitter shimmers, giving this crelly (creme-jelly) a fantastically cheerful finish. For optimal application it’s recommended to use 1-2 thin coats, first avoiding most larger iridescent glitters and before the final coat, close the lid and roll the bottle again. For the last coat, permit any and all orange/purple glitter to be caught on the brush, allowing it to lay smoothly on the top layer.” That is all accurate and good advice. Definitely use a good top coat to smooth the glitters! I used 2 coats with top coat. Full sized bottle of this will be $12.50 USD.
And back to vinyls lol! I used Show At Midnight to contrast the bright orange!
So, what do you think so far? I freaking love them and this is only half! This collection will be available in a mini (8 ml) set for $72.00 USD. Full sized (13 ml) will be available singly for the prices listed. They will also be available as a full size set for $110 USD. They are exclusive to The Rhinestone Housewife shop! “This collection was inspired by the Seattle burlesque scene that I was part of way back in the day. The burly-Q revival was fabulous and vibrant and I will always have fun remembering how we used to race from one gig to another on a Saturday night.” These will be releasing on February 14th, 2018. Which is your favorite so far? Head over to my YouTube for a swatch video for the first 5 polishes. Or, you can check my Facebook and Instagram for quick single swatches! Come back tomorrow for part 2 🙂 have a great night ❤
How are we doing this afternoon? I am sitting here with the biggest smile on my face. We just had our Christmas this past weekend because the girls were in Florida on actual Christmas. The girls got some great stuff and so did I! Of course my husband bought me some amazing polish. I also got a polish from my mom. I will show you that and one of the glitters today.
The polish my mom gave me is ZoyaRue. It is a pink under toned neutral shade. Its the perfect nude for me. This was the polish that I never knew I always needed. It’s wonderful. I used 2 thin smooth coats with top coat.
I added one of my new glitters to Rue. Unfortunately it was a generic square bottle with only a name, no brand. The name is Kiss & Makeup. I can tell you it came from Five Below but thats about it. I had no idea how much I was going to like this glitter. I thought it was just hex shaped glitters until I swatched it in my swatch book. IT HAS LIP GLITTERS!! I was soooo freaking excited! Valentine’s Day is coming up and this is just perfect ❤ Besides the red lip glitters it also has lavender metallic, white matte, and micro red and silver holo glitters. Such a cute mix. I used one coat over Zoya Rue with a little placement for the lips. I sealed it again with top coat. I recommend a second coat of top coat to smooth the glitters. Also a peel off base coat for easy removal!
Do you love it or do you LOVE IT?!?! I will have the links down below! Be sure to let me know in the comments what you think. Have a good rest of your day! 🙂
Hello! I am late posting this, but if you follow my IG then you have already seen a few of these pics. These 3 polishes make up the Creepy Cocktails collection which is from Creative Cuticles Nail Polish. The trio will be released on October 1st. Kayla sent these along with her Fall Jelly Trio (swatched here) for me to swatch so I have been sitting on these little bottles of liquid gold for a while. I am loving them all and I’m sure you will as well.
First we have O Negative, Please. This is 2 amazingly perfect coats with top coat. If I polished a little thicker I could have just used 1 coat. This is such a sexy deep red. I felt so bad ass wearing it!
For the stamping I used SinfulColorsBlack On Black and Winstonia plate w108.
Here I matted it using Pure Ice matte top coat. Ring is from Claire’s.
This one is Witches Brew. It has a cross between a crème and a crelly formula. Really smooth application. 2 coats plus top coat.
For the stamping I used SinfulColorsBlack On Black and Winstonia plate w116.
Matted using Pure Ice matte top coat.
Ooze On The Rocks. This is a slime green crelly polish. Usually that would be weird but its for Halloween so its totally fitting! This is a spot on match for the ooze in the Ninja Turtles Secret Of The Ooze. (If you like that stuff like I do lol). This crelly has a wonderful formula which (for me) is hard to find in a crelly. Kayla does them so very well. This is 3 this coats with top coat.
For the stamping I used SinfulColors Black On Black and Winstonia plate w116.
Matted using Pure Ice matte top coat.
I am SUPER happy with this trio. I will be buying these in full size asap!! And maybe a back up of O Negative, Please! Make sure you are following Kayla everywhere for updates, sales, and whatever else! Links below!! Which do you like best?
Good morning! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend and continues to have a nice relaxing Sunday! As usual here in Connecticut we are expecting snow later today. We have had snow once a week (at least) consistently for 6 weeks now! I am so over it! I have to do a post to help me forget about it so today I bring you, OPI Umpires Come Out At Night. I also added a shimmer topcoat from Orly just because it was a great match! Lets start with UCOAN. I went to the OPI site and it says that this is a crème polish. I really thought it was a crelly by the super smooth way it applied. It is so creamy and shiny. I picked this up because it reminded me so much of Revlon Royal. Turns out its darker and not as bold. That’s fine with me. Who doesn’t love blue polish?! For this swatch I used 3 thin coats plus topcoat. I didn’t need the third coat at all. Not even to even out the polish. I’m just weird like that lol. Look how gorgeous!!!
Here I have 1 coat of Love Each Other from Orly Over UCOAN. To me, it looks like very fine pink and blue shimmers in a clear base. Now, because of the mix of color shimmers, it flashes violet. I love it! I used glossy topcoat for all but the ring finger. I used matte on that finger so you could see the shimmer!
What a standout combo!! Hope you enjoyed my random Sunday morning swatch!!
