Hi! How are we all doing? I am anxious as hell! After buying the house fell through we decided to wait a few more years and to just look for a bigger apartment for now. Well, we put in an application to some “luxury” apartments and now we wait. Waiting is so hard!! I have never had much in life as far as money and extras go so even being able to apply here is surreal. But, you’re here for the polish aren’t you. Let’s get to it.
DESIRE Dark Brown is a dark brown creme polish with purple undertones. This polish reminds me of raisins. It has just enough of a purple hint to seem raisiny lol. Super sultry and smooth polish. Definitely perfect for fall and winter. As with most of Dr.’s REMEDY creme polishes, this one is just fabulous. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price: $17.25
Can you tell that the stamping is a leaf? This was my first try at layered stamping. I wanted to keep it simple because I really wanted to show off this color alone. Make sure you give Dr.’s REMEDY a try. They have tons of good stuff in their polishes such as tea tree oil, biotin, wheat protein, and vitamins. This brand of polish was created by doctors with YOU in mind. Let me know what you think in the comments and if you are interested in bestie twin nails let me know that as well! Have a great day y’all.

Hello! Today I have for you the Tooted & Re-Booted Offseason Collection from Bases Loaded Lacquer. These creme polishes watermarble, stamp, and work beautifully in tons of other nail art. There is a lot to see so let’s jump right in.
Off To A Rocky Start is a greige creme polish. I don’t know if you know but Tara has some of the best cremes out there. This is my second time swatching for her and they make me swoon. Off To A Rocky Start has a khaki feel to it color wise. I loved it so much. I usually like bold colors but I really liked how fresh it felt to wear a color like this. If you polish thicker you can totally get away with 1 coat. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $9.50
Arizona Fall League is a medium dusty purple creme polish. This is the purple I have been wanting! I didn’t even know how bad I needed this until it was in my hands. It’s so perfect for fall. Formula, to die for. Just perfect. I used 2 coats for my swatches but, again, 1 thicker coat would absolutely work. Price $9.50
Flashin’ Some Leather is a camel creme polish. This one looked like caramel on my nails when I was outside. Such a fun unique color. Ugh, I can’t get enough of these fall colors!! And we haven’t even gotten to my favorite yet lol! As with the other colors, this could be opaque in 1 coat. I, as usual, used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $9.50
TerraCAUGHTa Stealing is a terracotta creme polish. This leaned a little salmon on me. I love it either way. I definitely don’t have anything like it in my collection. If you haven’t noticed, I stuck with sweater art for this collection since it’s fall colors. Well, I inadvertently made the art on this remind me of watermelon lol. Another 1 coater if you polish thicker. I used 2 coats for my swatches. Price $9.50
Bad Hops is a green leaning teal creme polish. And here it is. This one is my favorite. It is just breathtaking. This was the only one I felt 100% ok using only 1 coat. Such a vibrant green. I am obviously on a serious green kick right now. I just really can’t have enough greens. Especially when they are this fantastic! 1 coat for my swatches. Price $9.50
Like I said before, This whole 5 piece collection is multi functional. Check out how beautifully they water marble!!
Did that make you fall even more in love? I hope so! Quick note: There are a few colors here that are VERY heavy on yellow pigment. This could cause some settling on the inside of the bottle and looking like UBS (ugly bottle syndrome). There will be larger mixing balls in the customer bottles so you should be able to shake most of that away. Easy peasy. Tara has tons of amazing polishes so when you go buy these make sure you check out the rest of her shop! This collection will release on November 6th at 9pm. DO NOT MISS THESE. Treat yourself early for the holidays if you have to. The Tooted & Re-Booted Offseason Collection is totally worth every penny and then some! If anyone wants to do bestie twin nails when you get these hit me up here in the comments or on Instagram! I hope you all have a great rest of your week!
Hey nail peeps. How was your weekend? Mine were just a bunch of days bunched together lol. My weekends are on Wednesday and Thursday. I did get some quality time with my girls though so that was really nice. Anywho, we have the November PPU coming up. Would you like to see what Ashley is bringing to the “Red Carpet”? Well for this inspiration it’s the purple carpet. Ash chose Taika Waititi’s red carpet look from Endgame. How freaking fancy right?! Let’s check it out.
Ragnarok & Roll is a soft light purple crelly polish with purple shimmer, black, white, and iridescent glitters in various sizes and shapes. This is such a delicate polish. The crelly formula is probably Ash’s best so far. And even better, this is her first polish using the new wide brush! What a dream. I absolutely loved working with this polish. You could get away with 2 thicker coats but I used 3 thinner coats for my swatches. Price $11 Cap 200.
Don’t you just love it? I love a soft purple this time of year. The pop of the iridescent glitter is such an added bonus. It’s always changing in different lighting. Polish Pickup will be open November 6th-9th only so don’t miss your chance for this beauty. Hope you all have a great week!

Are we ready for this? I mean, it’s NOVEMBER PPU! November!! Christmas is right around the corner. Today I have for you Moonflower Polish‘s contribution to the theme Red Carpet. Nadia was inspired by Ariana Grande’s grey dress from the 2020 Grammy Awards. Here is the inspiration pic which I grabbed from google:
Silver Lining is a grey based holo base with a pink to red to gold shifting shimmer. To me this is antiqued silver. Such a gorgeous holo! I only saw pink shimmer. For the life of me I just could not catch the shift on film. It doesn’t matter really because the pink shimmer is strong and beautiful and it totally compliments the base. This polish is on the thinner side for Nadia’s usual polish. Even with a thinner base I was still able to stamp. And even better I still only used 1 coat. Lot’s of pics ahead!! I used 1 coat for my swatches. Price $12.50 Cap 100/US 5/UK.
What do you think? I think Silver Lining perfect for the season. I see my daughter stealing this from me in the very near future lol. Abi is obsessed with holo and darker polishes. This will definitely stamp better over darker colors but it will also work for lighter colors as well. The cap for this polish is only 100 for US and 5 for UK so make sure you have warmed up your ninja fingers! Polish Pickup will be open November 6th-9th only. Thanks for reading. Have a good night y’all.
Hello! In my last post I shared that winter is my favorite season. Today I will show you a set of polishes I got to make with a winter theme! I am calling it my Girly Christmas Trio. Each polish was hand made by me from the Make Your Own Polish Kit. This kit comes with everything you need to make 3 bottles of polish. Let’s see what comes in the kit.
I will have my mixing videos on YouTube along with my live swatches. This whole thing is just so cool. It put me behind the scenes of one of my all time favorite things. So here is what I did. I read through the booklets to get an idea of how much to use of what, then I just wung it lol. I knew I wanted a red and a purple. The last one I just went with my heart. Let’s check them out.
Christmas Crush is a red jelly/crelly polish. After I read the amounts I accidentally added 1 less scoop of pigment. What I was really going for was a deep opaque red. I am not upset with what I got though at all! It’s a bright red with a pink undertone. It is perfect for Christmas time and that was my main concern. The formula is smooth and totally self leveling. I used 3 coats for my swatches.
Christmas Dreams is a medium blue toned purple with pink and blue shimmers. This turned out exactly as I was hoping! This is why the MYOP Kit is the best. Total customization. I knew I wanted a blue toned purple and I made it happen. Again, the formula is smooth and very easy to work with. And yes, I did use the right amount of scoops of pigment this time lol. It ended in a much more opaque polish. 2 coats for my swatches.
Christmas Magic is the lightest pink ever lol. Most of the time it looks white. I purposely did that because I wanted a white with pink shimmer and only the pink pigment had pink shimmer. I actually love that it kept that tiny touch of pink in the base color. I forgot to mention this so far but all 3 of these polishes stamp. For the art I only used this kit! I love me a polish that can multitask. This formula was a tad bit tricky with leveling. It just didn’t really want to. This could be a 2 coat polish but because of that little issue, I used 3 coats for my swatches.
This MYOP Kit was so much fun. If you want to whip up your own personal shade I highly recommend this. The only thing I think this kit could use are little option packs. Like a small bit of glitter to add or flakies or whatever could be added into polish. I also think it would be neat if they did holiday themed kits throughout the year. They don’t need these things. The kit was super fun on it’s own, just my thoughts and opinions 🙂 Each kit costs $39. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed putting it together for you! Make sure to watch my mixing and swatch videos on YouTube! Have a great rest of your week ❤
Hey y’all! It’s finally cooled down where I am and I couldn’t be happier! My favorite season is winter but fall is a very close second. I hope everyone is feeling well with all that’s going on in the world. Just remember there is always someone to talk to even if it be help lines. I’ll link some numbers below. For now let’s talk polish! I have the Cornucopia of Thanks Collection, which is a quartet of polishes that says thanks in different languages. Let’s have a look.
Bedankt (Dutch) is a light periwinkle creme polish. Definitely not your average fall color but it fits with this collection beautifully. My pictures lean a little blue for this one. It has the slightest purple hint that my camera just wouldn’t pick up. As always I’ll let you know what’s color accurate. Bedankt was a dream to work with. 2 perfect coats for my swatches. Price $10
Danke (German) is a medium boysenberry purple creme polish. I really want to say that this one is my favorite but every time I get to the green it wins lol. This is a super close second though. Just look at the deep lusciousness. This looks fabulous on the nails. I feel like this would fit all skin tones. An all around perfect polish. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10
Gracias (Spanish) is a medium deep green creme polish with a touch of teal. Y’all. This polish looks as if an emerald and some jade were melted together. The color is just stunning. Probably my favorite new green. I could not wait to get this on and it did not disappoint! If you get only 1 polish here let it be this one for real! Jill’s creme polishes are always fantastic and Gracias was no different. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10.
Spasibo (Russian) is a light pumpkin creme polish. I know it’s corny but I had to put pumpkins on this color lol. It’s the perfect pumpkin shade without being too bold. This one is super squishy. More like a crelly than a creme. An absolute dream to work with. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Price $10
What do you think? Do you love them? The Cornucopia of Thanks Collection is the perfect fall set. Please, please, please come back and let me know what you picked up and what you think about Gracias lol. Must haves for sure. The Cornucopia of Thanks Collection will be available on October 9th at 7pm EST. Don’t miss them! Thanks so much for stopping by 🙂 Links below!
Hello! Home from my quick little getaway and I feel so refreshed. It’s amazing what 2 nights on the water can do for you. Anyways, I am back with LevelUp Lacquer‘s contribution for October’s PPU theme of animation! Let’s have a look at this polish inspired by water breathing (10th form) from Demon Slayer (Anime series).
Constant Flux is a medium blue crelly with a scattered holographic shimmer and white and iridescent glitters in multiple shapes and sizes. I love the way the iridescent glitters subtly flash through the base color. This polish was a little on the thick side but nothing you can’t work with! This polish can be worn in 2-3 coats or layered over a darker color. I used 3 coats for my swatches. Price $11. Cap: 250 US / 50 UK
I love Constant Flux. It’s something I have never seen before and it’s so very pretty. PPU will be open from October 2nd – October 5th. Don’t forget to add this unique beauty to your wish list! Links below. Have a great week y’all 🙂
Hey guys! Glisten & Glow is back for October’s Polish Pickup. If you haven’t seen the pics yet hold your hats. She’s a doozy! Polish Pickup‘s theme for October is Cartoon/Animation. Truly Outrageous was inspired by Jill’s fanatic love for Jem And The Holograms. Let’s have a looksie 🙂
Truly Outrageous is exactly that. Truly outrageous!! This polish is a burple jelly polish with various shades, shapes, and sizes of pink glitters. Pretty much the epitome of burple color. My pics do lean a little blue so I’ll make sure you know what pic is most color accurate. Truly Outrageous is so fun! The sparkle is fantastic and the depth is just awesome. And it’s SO squishy! I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow and I do believe this will be on my toes. I used 3 thin coats for my swatch plus glitter grabber and top coat. Price $12.50 Cap: Under 395 for both US & UK.
Before I show you my fun nail art, I want to tell you about Jill’s top coat. Glisten & Glow Top Coat is an award winning, fast drying, glossy top coat. After using this top coat your nails will be dry in 2-4 minutes or less and they will be durable and long lasting with days to weeks of no tip wear or chipping! It has a crystal clear, shiny/glossy, “wet/gel” like appearance. It seals and evens glitters and flakie polishes. It won’t smear your nail art and it glows under black light! Dang that’s a lot lol. I say this all the time but I have been buying this top coat since 2013 and I haven’t bought another brand since! I have reviewed but never purchased anything but this. It has my heart and my hands ❤ Price $7.50 Cap: US-230 UK-5
Polish Pickup will only be open from October 2 at 11am EST until October 5 at 11:59pm EST. Make sure these go on your wish list!! Have a great day! Links below 🙂
Hello! How are we all doing? I am fabulous! It’s 71 degrees out and all my windows are open. I love this time of year. The fresh air is just so perfect and refreshing. A perfect fall type day to bring you Glisten & GlowsFall 2020 trio! 3 gorgeous glitter crellies that are a little out of the norm color wise. On to the pics!
The Great Grape Stomp is a white based crelly with various shapes and sizes of purple, lavender, garnet, grey, and gun metal glitters. An absolute must have for any purple lover. The polish is nice and creamy. Glitter packed but not chunky. No need to fish for glitters as this has tons! The glitter colors all compliment each other so nicely. An all around pleasure to use. 2 coats for my swatches. Price $10.
Jack O’Lantern Blaze is the only color you might expect to see in a fall collection. It’s a white based crelly polish with various shapes and sizes of chocolate, yellow, and orange glitters. This screams falloween. Again, a super smooth polish filled to the brim with glitter. I think of s’mores and pumpkin pie when I wear this. 2 coats for full coverage. Price $10
Harvest Moon Skies is a white based crelly loaded with various shapes and sizes of navy, turquoise, grey, gun metal, and aqua glitters. This one is my favorite. The colors together are unique but so very pretty. I especially love the grey and gun metal glitter. Not a color I would expect at all but it totally works. As with the others, this is super smooth but glitter packed! 2 coats for my swatch. Price $10
Did you notice that all of my manis looked smooth? That’s because I used Glitter Grabber! After you put on your polish, allow it to dry fully then use a coat of Glitter Grabber before you top coat! Totally smooth! It is a miracle product that has many uses. Make sure you follow Glisten & Glow‘s FB page to see what people are saying. If you use glitter you absolutely need Glitter Grabber! Anywho, the Fall 2020 collection will be available for purchase on September 18th at 7pm EST. Set any alarms you have. You will not regret this purchase ever. I will have the links below! Have a great day y’all 🙂
Hey y’all, I’m back. No house. Turns out it needed a new foundation and the seller refused to pay for it. So, for now we are just looking at apartments and will go back to house hunting in a year or so. I’m so sad. The location was EVERYTHING!! But that’s that. Hopefully in a few years we can look again in the same neighborhood. Since this is a review blog, I suppose should get to the reviews huh!? Let’s get to it.
Mystery Polish July 2020 is a bright blue crelly polish with black and black holo glitters in various sizes. To me this is just fantastic. Just look at that blue! It really makes a statement. I’m not always the biggest glitter fan but I absolutely had to have these few polishes. Jill’s crelly formula is as smooth as silk. They level out nicely on their own even with all the glitter. I used only 2 coats in my swatch video but I should have used 3. My pics are 3 coats. The white of my nail shows through without that last coat. Price: $10
Mystery Polish August 2020 is a teal crelly polish with black and black holo glitter in various sizes. Oh look! Another teal… I just can’t help myself. For real. It’s become an obsession lately! It just looks so good with my skin tone. This super smooth polish went on perfectly in 3 thin coats. Price $10
Mystery Polish September 2020 is a bright green crelly with black and black holo glitters in various sizes. I had to have this one because my birthday is in September. It turned out to be my favorite. This shade of green is just so fun and definitely eye catching. The holo also seems to be a bit more visible in this one as well. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches. Price: $10
Overall, I am super happy with this purchase! I have already worn the teal more than once and so has my daughter. It’s also on her toes as well as mine. Like I said before, obsessed. I’m not sure I have ever had a polish with a fill line in less than a week lol. If you are interested in any of these, the link to Jill’s shop will be down below. I hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
