Hi y’all! How was the storm for you? We got about 7 inches. I live in CT and I was really hoping for 1-2 feet!! I freaking love winter. It is my favorite season. Ironically, I am allergic to the cold. Legit allergy. You can google it! I hate it. I haven’t built a snowman since I was 11. I am 38… Makes me so sad 😦 We can brighten things up though with this fantastic polish from Jill at Glisten & Glow. Let’s get to it.
Umbrella Alley @ Camden Market is a white based glitter crelly polish loaded with various shapes and sizes of red, pink, and yellow neon glitters. OMG y’all! I love me some neon. Neon is my favorite color! Not only is this polish gorgeous as is, it also glows under black light. It is such a fun polish. It is inspired by London’s famous Camden Market. There is a beautiful alley that is canopied with bright red, pink, and yellow umbrellas. Under this utopia of colorful umbrellas, you can shop, eat, drink, dance, enjoy art, and music. This polish is a little on the thick side since it is so packed with glitter. Nothing you need to adjust though. It still polishes wonderfully. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.
Glitter Grabber is an amazing product that gets applied after any glitter or flakie dense manicure is done and it’s fully dry and before your top coat. It aids in creating a smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture.
Directions: After you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have fully let it dry, you add a nice layer of Glitter Grabber on top. It is a shiny formula upon application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that texture. Allow to fully dry and then add your glossy or matte top coat. It works at grabbing that extra texture that glitter or flakies can have!
