Jior Couture ~ Medusa Noir ~ January ’23 PPU

*This polish was provided for review

Hello! I hope you had an amazing holiday! It’s almost 2023! With the new year comes a new theme for PPU. The theme this month is Greek Mythology. Let’s see what Jior has to offer, shall we?

Medusa Noir is a green (cold) to gold (warm) thermal jelly polish with blue glow in the dark element filled with gold and orange holo micro glitters. Did you know, there is a theory that the OG Medusa was a black woman with locs? The lady with the head full of snakes who turned men to stone when they looked in her eyes isn’t true. The truth is she was a beautiful African woman with locs (snakes). She was so beautiful that when men looked at her or when she made eye contact, they froze in complete astonishment. They were blown away by her beauty. I always wanted a glow in the dark thermal polish. That’s my ideal polish so I was super excited to get this baby. I actually think I had one before but the glow was pretty much non existent. Anywho, to me the green leans a bit teal. Super pretty color. When it’s in between colors it’s almost an army green. Formula was nice for a glitter filled jelly. I will say it is a tad thick. It has thermal and glow pigments though so that’s expected. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Whew! That was a lot of pics! That’s what happens with a polish that has multiple features. I even forgot to mention it glows in black light as well! Medusa Noir will be $13 per bottle with NO cap! Polish Pickup will be open January 6th 11am EST until January 9th 11:59pm EST. You don’t want to miss this amazing polish! Links will be below! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤
