Hello!! So I posted a poll on IG to see if anyone was still interested in swatches considering Halloween is over. I got a yes so here we are! I’m doing this collection in parts because 6 at once just seems like a lot. Let’s get to part 1!
Sinful Soul is a matte white creme polish. This is my first matte white polish. I usually hate plain white nails but I really liked them with the matte finish. I know I always could have just matted a white polish. It honestly just never came to mind. I did find this one a tad streaky. Nothing horrible though. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches
Evil Queen is a matte black creme polish. I would like to call this more of a charcoal color. It has a very fine shimmer to it that you can see on the brush. Now that I think about it, this is my only matte black polish as well lol. I just don’t purchase matte polish. I have a matte top coat for that. This one was really good though. A little streaky on the first coat but the second makes it totally opaque and even. I used 2 coats for my swatches.
Twisted Sister is a matte bold fuchsia creme polish. This one surprised me. For some reason I was just expecting this to need 3 coats to be opaque. I was wrong. It’s because I swatch my polish in a notebook and it just seemed thinner on there. So, I do like this one but it’s nothing spectacular. Great formula though for a matte polish. I used 2 thin coats for my swatches.
There’s part 1! What do you think of the matte finish. It’s more of a satin finish than a true matte finish. I’m cool with that though. I would definitely purchase the black and fuchsia one. The white I wouldn’t recommend. Streaky and didn’t really level itself out. You can purchase these on the China Glaze website for $7.50 each. As of right now they are all still available.
