Hello 🙂 It’s another rainy, yucky day here in CT. I am really hoping that you have warmer weather! So, I just shared a collage and video of this Joy Lacquer in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook page and y’all went nuts! Is it because of the inspiration or because of the polish itself? I will totally take both as an answer!! Let’s get right to it.
Anthony Kied-YAASS! is a fabulous candy-apple red jelly polish packed with both opalescent and chrome shifting flakies. The inspiration is the Red Hot Chili Peppers album, Blood Sugar Sex Magic. This album includes the popular songs: “Under The Bridge”, “Give It Away”, and “Breaking The Girl”. This album has since gone platinum 7 times!! Let me tell you my favorite part: First coat is RED! Not pink. Not magenta, RED! If a lighter red is what you want, one coat of this is perfect. 2 coats makes it a little deeper and adds flakie dimension. You really won’t need a 3rd coat but you know me. I used 3 coats plus top coat purposely because I love flakies. I wanted the most depth I could get. It’s SO SQUISHY ❤ The flakies make the polish look like it has been sprinkled with chili pepper flakes! How freaking clever.
Fabulous right?! And even better, you get a few nail vinyls/decals with each bottle of Anthony Kied-YAASS! The decals will be in the shape of one of Anthony Kiedas’ smaller, but very recognizable tattoos. A black asterisk symbol (or Star Of Affinity). This symbol was also later used as a band logo.
Are you sold yet? I am super happy to have this one. I am wearing it on my sad little nubs, matte, right now! You will have to buy it to see though because I didn’t take pics of it lol! The price for this polish, including vinyls, is $11.00 USD. There will be a cap of 100 bottles so you better act fast! Polish Pickup opens May 4th and closes May 7th 2018.
