Friday!!! And for most people, that means Payday!!! While you are mentally divvying up your funds, don’t forget to save enough for Joy Lacquer’s new collection. Gardens Of The Galaxy is an 8 piece collection of perfect! Joy’s polishes are always so unique. They go with the theme seamlessly. Each one has a name to giggle at. Shall we start? this will be long so grab a snack 🙂
First polish is What’s Up Succa? I really can’t say enough about this one. I thought it would be sheer but it is opaque in 3 thin coats. “Plant Inspiration – Echeveria Perle Von Nurnberg, succulent species
‘What’s Up Succa?‘ – A gray mint-green base with soft pink shift and pink/purple/green ultra chrome flakies.” Just WOW!
Feed Me, Seymour is my favorite… I think?! Perfect in 3 thin coats. “Plant Inspiration – Venus Flytrap, a carnivorous plant drosera family
‘Feed Me Seymour‘ – Bright punch pink with soft green shimmer.”
This Peach Seems Ranunculus-ly Ripe is the thermal polish of the bunch! “Plant Inspiration – Ranunculus flower, known for it’s often 2-toned, delicately ruffled petals
‘This Peach Seems Ranunculus-ly Ripe‘ – Soft peach sorbet colored thermal that transitions to deep rose pink when cold. Packed with pink, orange, yellow and green opal flakes. Scattered with neon pink flecks that deepen the warm-toned peach.” This one dries matte but, I used 2 coats plus Joy’s 3…2…Oh! quick dry top coat! Which is also great! Make sure you grab one 🙂
Sundew, Some Don’t is an awesome multi chrome! “Plant Inspiration – Drosera Sundew, carnivorous plant
‘Sundew, Some Don’t ‘ – Bright fiery orange chrome that shifts to an amber maroon shade, scattered with tiger orange/red chrome flakes” Opaque in 2 coats with top coat.
Forget Me Bot is another stand out shade in this collection. “Plant Inspiration – The Forget-Me-Not flower
‘Forget Me Bot‘ – Brilliant azure blue with pink, green and gold sparks.” So, so bold! I used 3 thin coats with 3…2…Oh! quick dry top coat!
Still with me? I know it’s a lot of pics but it will be worth it!! Next up we have Are You Sedum This? “Plant Inspiration – Lime Zinger Sedum, commonly known as stonecrop
‘Are You Sedum This?‘ – Vibrant spring green packed with yellow and turquoise sparks and subtle pink/yellow shift.” Nope! I forgot about this one! This one is my favorite 🙂 I am such a succa (haha) for a good green lately ❤ 3 thin coats with top coat.
Say Aloe To My Little Frond. Seriously, such a cute and clever name! “Plant Inspiration – Haworthia succluent, relative to aloe plant
‘Say Aloe to My Little Frond‘ – Dark basil green packed with green, blue and gold opalescent micro-flakes and added green/blue/gold shimmery flecks.” And again… GREEN! 2 coats with 3…2…Oh!
