Glisten & Glow ~ Love Songs Trio Vol. 2

*These polishes were provided for review

Today is the day y’all! Jill is releasing the Limited Edition Love Songs Trio Vol. 2! Have you seen swatches yet? I have seen some and they are just so pretty! This collection is so well rounded and perfect together. There is a flakie, a glitter, and a metallic. Let’s take a look.

Unchained Melody is a clear based polish loaded with color shifting chrome flakes that shift from purple/red/copper/green/gold with added fuchsia shreds and gold shimmer. This one has sooo much depth. The fuchsia shreds make this polish. Formula was buttery perfect. Who doesn’t love a full coverage flakie polish?!?! I used 3 thin coats for my swatches with Glisten & Glow’s Glitter Grabber and glossy and matte top coats.

I’ll Stand By You is a purple based jelly polish loaded with smaller red glitters and red holo glitters. Omg I love this one. Purple and red is my most favorite color combo! The formula is impeccable for a jelly base. It just glides on so smoothly. The glitters are so eye catching. The glitters leave a little texture so I suggest grabbing Glitter Grabber as well with your purchase. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches with Glisten & Glow’s Glitter Grabber and glossy and matte top coats.

Can’t Help Falling In Love is a red jelly polish loaded with red/gold/green/blue color shifting aurora shimmers. So, I said this was a metallic and I was wrong but it seriously looks like it!! This one actually ended up being my favorite. This went straight onto my toes! I don’t know what it is about this one but I just can’t get enough. It just glows. I was also a little shocked because the first coat looked like it was going to be pink and at the end it’s almost an orange! Check out my YouTube swatches to see what I mean! Formula on this was perfection and it was nice and smooth so no Glitter Grabber needed for this one. 3 thin coats for my swatches with Glisten & Glow’s glossy and matte top coats.

Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below what you’ll be grabbing!! The Love Songs Trio Vol. 2 release tonight, January 14th at 7pm EST. Each polish on it’s own will be $11. Or you can buy the trio for $32. Don’t miss out as these are limited edition polishes. One batch and done! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ 41st Birthday Polish

*These polishes were provided for review

Hello! How are we all doing? I just got back from Nags Head, North Carolina! It was supposed to be this wonderful beach vacation but my 2 year old made sure that didn’t happen!! He refused to sleep every night but the last night. It was a long week. But we are home now and Alex is starting to get beck to normal, thankfully. Today I have for you a great freaking deal! Jill has just turned 41 and she made a polish and bundle just for it! Shall we?!

41 & Feelin’ It is a black jelly polish filled with a rainbow of colored shreds. Holy wow is this polish jam packed! You WILL NEED Glitter Grabber and Top Coat to smooth this beauty out. I expected this to be way more chunky but it laid pretty flat for shards. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches with a coat of Glitter Grabber and then a coat of Top Coat. Formula was really nice for being so full.

Glitter Grabber is an amazing product that gets applied after any glitter or flakie
dense manicure is done and it’s fully dry and before your top coat. It aids in creating a
smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture!
Directions: After you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have fully let it dry, you add a nice layer of Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber on top. It is a shiny formula upon application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that texture. Allow to fully dry and then add your glossy or matte top coat! It works at
grabbing that extra texture that glitter or flakies can have!

Glisten & Glow Top Coat is an award winning fast dry glossy top coat.
The benefits are:

  • 2-4 minutes or less and your nails will dry, durable, long lasting with days or weeks
of no tip wear, or chipping!
  • crystal clear, shiny, glossy “wet/gel like” appearance
  • seals and evens glitters and flakie polishes
  • non smearing for stamping manis

Now that you have seen them all, you need them all! That’s exactly why Jill is offering them up as a bundle! You can purchase 41 & Feelin’ It for $10.50 or you can buy the polish with Glitter Grabber and Top Coat for $22!! 41 & Feelin’ It and the bundle will be available on January 14th at 7pm EST. You don’t wanna miss this deal! I’ll leave the links below! Have a great week y’all! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ January 2022 PPU/IPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! Sorry for the recent break. I had Covid and just took some time for myself for that. I will report that because I am vaccinated, the sickness was more like a cold for me. I was very lucky. Enough about that. Let’s get to the polish!

Sweet N’ Low On The Go is a soft bubble gum pink polish loaded with blue/purple iridescent flakes and added aqua and blue shimmers. Wow is this sweet! It’s that pink that just screams sweetener. Such a perfect match to the inspiration! Sweet N’ Low On The Go is inspired by the pink sugar substitute that is always within reach at your local coffee shop/restaurant or in your purse to sweeten your favorite drink or food. The flakes in this polish are so abundant. It makes the polish a tad chunky. It lays flat upon application though so no worries. Because of the flakes you will also need Glitter Grabber. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Glitter Grabber is an amazing product that gets applied after any
glitter or flakie dense manicure is done and it’s fully dry and before your top coat. It aids
in creating a smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture!

Directions: After you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have fully let it dry, you add a nice layer of Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber on top. It is a shiny formula upon
application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that
texture. Allow to fully dry and then add your glossy or matte top coat! It works at grabbing that extra texture that glitter or flakies can have! I used it in my pictures above for Sweet N’ Low On The Go. It made my finished mani as smooth as glass.

Here are the deets:

Sweet N’ Low On The Go: $13 NO CAP

Glitter Grabber: $8 NO CAP

Polish Pickup will be open 1/7/22 at 11 am EST –1/10/22 at 11:59 pm EST. Don’t miss out! Let me know in the comments what you’ll be picking up this month! I Hope you all have a fantastic week ahead. Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ December 2021 PPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! today I have for you Jill’s offerings for PPU. The theme this month is Cozy Vibes. Jill was inspired by the Danish word of Hygge and the life that it represents. The warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people. Let’s check it out.

Hygge Life is an ivory base with pink undertones loaded with iridescent flakes. Holy mother this is gorgeous. My pics don’t do this one justice. The brush shot right above is close! It’s so soft and full of flakes. “A perfect polish for the everyday/work friendly life that is a palette cleanse from the bold and vibrant. Just a simply delicate and refreshed manicure vibe.” I prefer the bold and vibrant but I really enjoyed this polish. I wore it for a few days! It is flakie dense but it still applies nicely. I used 3 thin smooth coats for my swatches.

Also up for grabs is Glisten & Glow Top Coat. Glisten & Glow Top Coat is an award winning fast dry glossy top coat. The benefits are :

  • 2-4 minutes or less and your nails will be dry, durable, long lasting with days or weeks of no tip wear or chipping!
  • Crystal clear, shiny, glossy “wet/gel like” appearance.
  • Seals and evens glitter and flakie polishes.
  • Non smearing for stamping manis.
  • Glows under black light.

If you haven’t tried Glisten & Glows Top Coat, your life is just not complete. It will change your whole nail game! I have been buying top coat from Jill since 2013 I think and it’s the only top coat I have purchased since. I actually just grabbed some from her Black Friday sale. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

PPU is open from December 3rd at 11am EST until December 6th at 11:59pm EST. Set your alarms so you don’t miss out.

Hygge Life: $13 – NO CAP

Top Coat: $7.50 – NO CAP

Glisten & Glow ~ Holiday Holos

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! How has your weekend been so far? My weekend starts on Sunday so it’s close! Today I have for you some more holos from Glisten & Glow! This is a super non traditional color scheme but it really just works. Are we ready to jump right in? Ok here goes.

Sleigh My Name is a Ceylon blue holo polish with added holo micro flakies. Did you sing this name? I did. And it’s not the only one you’ll sing either lol. This blue is so pretty and vibrant. I just love a good holo<3 I used 2 smooth coats for my swatches.

All The Jingle Ladies is a plum purple holo polish with added holo micro flakies. Purple is a weakness of mine. I saw somewhere recently that purple is the best selling polish color. I definitely believe that! This is no exception. A perfect purple holo. Great formula as well. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Let’s Take An Elfie! is an ultramarine blue holo polish with added holo micro flakies. Yes. Another blue. It’s similar but definitely different. This one is like water. It looks like it moves on the nail because of the depth of holo with the added flakes. Just fantastic. I used 3 thin perfect coats for my swatches.

It’s Simple Claus & Effect is a raspberry holo polish with added holo micro flakies. This one is my favorite of the bunch. I feel like the holo is just stronger in this polish. It’s probably the base color but either way it’s gorgeous. Just like the rest, this polish has an immaculate formula. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Now for the deets. Each polish will be $11.50 or you can buy the quad for $40! Great price for holos! Now, if you bought the Fall Holos and the Halloween Quad, you now have a full rainbow of holo polishes. Including black! If you didn’t get the Halloween Quad you will not have the black but you will still have a full rainbow. I am super happy to have the full rainbow. Don’t miss out on that! All of these polishes I just mentioned are one batch and done type polish so if you don’t have them all jump on it quickly before they are gone for good. I hope the rest of your weekend is relaxing! Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ Shades Of Shenandoah Collection

*These polishes were provided for review

Hello! I hope you are all doing much better than I. It’s been a rough 2 weeks I can’t even begin to tell you! Let’s bring all the happy by checking out this new collection from Jill at Glisten & Glow! This 4 piece collection is called Shades Of Shenandoah. Four totally unique shades that you’ll have to have. Shall we?

Visions In The Valley is a clear based polish jam packed with both multi chrome and iridescent flakes that shift from green/blue/gold/purple/red/pink. Yowza is this one stunning. You can use this as a topper but it is pretty flakie dense so expect a real good coating. I also highly suggest grabbing some Glitter Grabber when you order because this polish is so flakie filled. Formula is super smooth. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Stalagmites & Stalactites At Skyline is a medium lilac polish loaded with color shifting shimmer that shifts from copper/gold/green/blue. I love shimmer polish so much. Especially when it’s this shifty. Every move of your hand shows different colors. The formula on this one was just impeccable. 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Limestones At Luray is a rich caramel jelly polish with added holo micro flakes and loaded with color shifting multi chrome flakes that shift from purple/red/orange/yellow/green. This is the most unique polish I have ever seen. EVER! I honestly wasn’t sure about it when I first saw it. But once I put it on I fell in love. The flakes and the depth and just everything about this polish is fantastic. You will need this one. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Sunsets On Skyline Drive is a medium sky blue holo crelly loaded with rainbow iridescent flakes. This one is my favorite! Wait til you see it matte!! The flakies make this polish. The base color is also just gorgeous. This one is flakie packed so again, don’t forget to grab some Glitter Grabber. This polish could probably be fine with 2 coats but of course I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

How do feel about these shades? I love them so much! They are a one batch and done type situation so these will not be restocked when they sell out. I suggest you grab them early. Each polish is $11.50 or you can buy the quad for $42. If you buy only one I suggest Limestones At Luray. You’ll never see another polish like it. These polishes are available now so don’t wait! I hope you enjoyed these polishes as much as I did. I hope you have a fantastic week coming up! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Glisten & Glow ~ November 2021 PPU-IPU

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey! It’s that time again! PPU is back with a theme of Game Night. I’m super excited for this month. My husband has our only income so I don’t get to purchase polish often but I have my eye on something specific this month and I already got the OK!! Today I have something for you to add to your wish list. Let’s check it out.

On Thin Ice is an icy powder blue polish loaded with color shifting shimmer that shifts between orange/red/yellow/green. The inspiration for this polish comes from when Jill was a child. “As kids we love snow days! After we had gone sledding and made snow angels, we would come inside to warm up with hot coco and play our favorite winter game of Thin Ice! Always trying to make sure that our marble wasn’t the one that “broke the ice”.” I love this polish. It is so soft and pretty. The shimmer just jumps off of the nails! It’s so prominent. And it’s so shifty. Of course my pics do it no justice… You will just have to buy it so you can wear it yourself!! I used 3 thin coats of perfection for my swatches.

Now for the ever popular Glitter Grabber. Glitter Grabber is an amazing product that gets applied after any glitter or flakie dense manicure is done and it’s fully dry before your top coat. It aids in creating a smoother surface for your top coat or matte top coat all while “grabbing” that extra texture.

Directions: after you have applied your glitter or flakie polish and have fully let it dry, you add a nice layer of Glisten & Glow’s Glitter Grabber on top. It is a shiny formula upon application and will add that extra layer of protection and smoothing action to that texture. Allow to fully dry then add your glossy or matte top coat! It works at grabbing that extra texture that glitters or flakies can have!

Glitter Grabber has quickly become a holy grail product in my arsenal. As a swatcher I grab for it often and it never disappoints. You can also add a coat of Glitter Grabber under any glitter or flakie polish for easier removal. There are so many uses for this product. I highly recommend that it makes it’s way into your wish list then into your cart!! Just look at what it can do. My pics, in order, start with no Glitter Grabber. Then with 1 coat of Glitter Grabber. Then with 1 coat of Glitter Grabber with 1 coat of top coat.

Now for the deets. Polish Pickup will be open from November 5th 11am EST until November 8th 11:59pm EST

On Thin Ice: $13 NO CAP

Glitter Grabber: $8 NO CAP

Make sure these make it to your wish list then your cart. Luckily Jill likes everyone to get what they want so no caps!!I hope you all have a great rest of the week. Thanks so much for stopping by ❤

Dr.’s REMEDY ~ Breast Cancer Awareness 2021

*These polishes were provided for review

Hey y’all! Today I have for you some pink before the month is over! I am behind because these were not delivered very quickly. The mail is just crazy and it’s about to get worse so strap in! Holidays are coming up quick. Anywho, for now we are bringing the pink! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Dr.’s REMEDY has put together a few shades to support the cause! Let’s check them out!

PROMISING Pink is a very soft pink crelly polish. I want to love this one but I just can’t. The formula was not the best and it was very unforgiving to my nail ridges. You can see clearly in pics that it did not cover the nail fully. I have never had this happen before. Especially after 3 coats of polish! This polish would be ok at 1 coat for a sheer wash of color. I used 3 coats for my swatches.

POSITIVE Pink is a bubblegum pink creme polish. This one was nice to work with. Nice creamy formula that applies beautifully. You could use 2 coats but I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

PLAYFUL Pink is a bright pink creme polish with added silver shimmer. This one was my favorite. Great coverage and a wonderful formula. This is a definite 2 coater. I used 3 coats though because I’m just weird like that.

Uniquely formulated with organic ingredients, nourishing
vitamins— and without toxic additives commonly found in
traditional polish—our podiatrist-formulated lacquers won’t
just make your nails look great, they’ll make you feel great
about wearing them. That’s because for the month of
October, Dr.’s REMEDY® is donating 10% of the proceeds
from the sale of each bottle of PROMISING Pink to Living
Beyond Breast Cancer.

This October, treat your nails to the ultimate feel good
manicure, compliments of Dr.’s REMEDY®. In honor of
Breast Cancer Awareness month, Dr.’s REMEDY® is proud to
partner with Living Beyond Breast Cancer, an organization
dedicated to expanding the resources and improving the
lives of women living with breast cancer. This month
Dr.’s REMEDY® is highlighting its Pretty in Pink Collection:
Featuring top selling Promising Pink. Complete with a
wellness-inspired name— a Dr.’s REMEDY® signature—
PROMISING was hand picked to promote positivity, serenity
and encouragement, empowering those facing the fight against
Breast Cancer to feel good about themselves and their nails.

Glisten & Glow ~ Halloween Quad 2021

*These polishes were provided for review

It’s finally spooky season! How excited are you??? I’m ecstatic!! Now, straight through the holidays, is my favorite time of the year. Of course Jill will have you covered! Today I am bringing you Glisten & Glow’s Halloween Quad! 4 amazing polishes that fit for the season and beyond! Let’s have a look!

Ahead Of The Carve is a vibrant orange polish with color shifting shimmer that goes from red to green to gold. This one is amazing! The color payoff is fantastic. This color just jumps off your nails. Vibrant is a great description of this color. Formula was nice and smooth. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches.

Mummy Of The Year is a white based crelly polish with added glitters in brown, copper, and orange. Fall in a bottle. I love the mix of glitter colors in here. Very fitting for the fall season. Formula was great even with all the glitters. I do recommend Glitter Grabber for this polish if you want that glass like finish. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Scare Way To Heaven is a deep purple holo polish with color shifting shimmers from blue/aqua/purple and holo micro flakes. Yup! Love this one. The blue/aqua shift is just so freaking pretty. And can we just talk about the name? Jill is so clever! I used 2 smooth coats for my swatches.

Witch Way To The Candy is a black holo polish with added micro flakes. Y’ALL!! This is a 1 coat polish. Perfect formula and super pigmented. Seriously, a must have for any nail polish enthusiast! I’m wearing this right now and I just can’t get enough! It’s perfect for all year round as well. It is a 1 coat polish but I of course used 2 just because for my swatches.

That’s the Halloween Quad! What do you think? Aren’t they just perfect for the season? These polishes will be available on October 8th at 7pm EST. Each polish will be $10 or you can just buy the quad for $35! BUY ALL THE HALLOWEEN POLISH!!! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week! Thanks for stopping by ❤

Orly ~ Wild Natured Collection

*I bought this

Hello! How are we all doing? Today I have for you the Wild Natured collection from Orly. I know these have been all over the place already but just look at them!! These colors make up the best fall lineup I have seen in a while out of a mainstream brand. There are other great collections, don’t get me wrong. This one just definitely stands out. Let’s check them out, shall we?

Blue Tango is described as a medium blue creme polish. This is a stand out color for sure! It’s deeper in darker lighting but it is so bright in the sun! Such a beautiful blue. I used 2 smooth coats for my swatches.

In Full Plume is described as a dark teal creme. I always love a good teal color. This one is perfect and creamy and everything you want in a good polish. I used 2 amazing coats for my swatches.

Wild Willow is described as a mossy green creme polish. The more I use these ugly colors the more I love them. I loved how this looked on my skin tone. I think a color like this will compliment any skin tone!! Again, I used 2 easy peasy coats for my swatches.

Lion’s Ear is described as a warm orange creme polish. To me, this polish is definitely more of a crelly. I still had a slight visible nail line at 2 coats. 3 coats would most likely make this shade opaque. Formula was nice and easy to work with. 2 coats for my swatches.

Bird Of Paradise is described as an orange creme polish. What?!?! 2 oranges? I was kinda shocked but it works! And they are both very different oranges thankfully. This one is definitely a creme base. I used 2 buttery coats for my swatches.

String Of Hearts is described as a deep fuchsia creme polish. I just adore this color. This is a flattering color for me or anybody really. This polish was super smooth and nicely pigmented. I used 2 coats for my swatches.

Don’t you just love them? They are available now commercially but I will leave you the pricing info from their direct site. Each shade is $9.50. You can get the full set for $57. If gel polish is your thing they are also available that way for $15.90 per shade or $95.40 for the full 6 piece set. My favorite thing about Orly is that their bottle are larger than the average polish bottle. I feel like I get such a great value lol. Your average full sized polish is .5 oz. Orly is .6 oz. And let’s not forget the amazing quality we all know and love from Orly. I have never had a bad polish from Orly. Since these are so popular right now, I would love to do some twin nails so let me know in the comments if that’s something you want to do. I hope you all have a great rest of your week. Thanks so much for stopping by ❤
